Sooooooooooooooo, are we going to have a NBA season or What???

I’ve been quietly craving me some NBA basketball draftnet community, sooooooooooo when can we expect the League’s greedy owners and It’s overpaid players to break down and reach an agreement much like the NFL…If ever a sport needed a lock out it was the NBA but with so litttle attention/interest by fans and casual consumers does it really matter to anyone but the 30 owners and players begging for more or less the same things…It seems the ones that are paying the highest cost are The Cities/Fan bases and sites(like this glorious one here) that live and die basketball…Even companies like the Mighty 2K sports are going to be effected financially by this over due lockout…Am I the only one who feels there are long term effects of a Proffessional Sport "locking out" it’s players and most importantly it’s fans when that Pro Sport was and is on shakey ground…Most sports fans could give a crap about Pro Basketball because of the apparently clear collusion between Owners of Elite Franchises like the Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Knicks and newly Crowned Miami Heat…In a watered down league where the best players either play for or want to play for one of those said Elite Franchises, why should we care…Sure great players make us watch them when they are on display but quite frankly why should any true sports fan root for anyone of these players and franchises(unless you of course live in LA,Boston,Miami,Chicago or NewYork)…Yes we have Teams like The OKC Thunder who have top talent in a small market but we all know The Hijack City Thunder belong in Seattle and greed and Luck shined through in their situation much like we’re hoping happens with the lockout…In a Nut shell I love the NBA, I love my Team and I am in awe with the Talent of the great players of the Sport But God help me if the new Motto of the NBA isn’t "Where nothing happens"…

I would love to battle it out 1 or more times before we retire the Legendary 2k11…I will have time Later on after 12 am ET…Sat. before 5pm ET and Sunday when the Eagles finish playing lol…I’ll have all next week Too. but with Rage and 2k12 slowly approaching(Oct.4th) I’ll be looking more and more anti social by next week…

If the season is Cancelled..I Guarantee you… At Least 2 small market teams will Fold in a year or 2 becuz of this lockout…
