jjonzParticipantActually Son’s of Thunder are the Names of 2 Brothers in the Bible. But in the NBA these 2 frontcourt brothers can do some amazing things on the Court together. I read that One Western Conference Scout said that Ibaka "had more potential than Amare", that is a dierct quote from a scout not my opinion. When i read that i was eager to watch him & see how he could perform with more minutes. Last year he put 6/5rebs 1 blk in 18 min. Now with Perk teaching him how to play physical Defense he is avg 9/10rebs/ 5blks in 29minsSince KPerk joined the Thunder. And Perk got a great deal to bring the Heart of a Champion to the Thunder and keep guy’s accountable. I think this team can do some damage in the West. But what does the future portend for these 2 Son’s of Thunder, I think if Ibaka develops more post moves to go with his athleticisim he could be an AllStar with avgs of 12-17/11rebs/2-4blks a game, with Perk providing his solid-beyond-the-boxscore game this could be one of the best frontcourts in a long time Durant/Ibaka/Perk. This Thunder team will be fun to watch come playoff time and in the Future.

Anton123ParticipantIbaka is nothing like Stoudamire, Ibaka’s main strength is defense, while that is Stoudamire’s main weakness.
But the Thunder right now have a great defensive aand solid offensive team. They need a back up SF and will be loaded for years to come.

sheltwon3ParticipantI actually like their front court and Ibaka is raw but very athletic. I think he has a decent jumper. He would have to improve his ball handling and overall offensive game to match Amare but when Amare first came out, he was man a raw athlete and that is what Ibaka is now except Ibaka plays defense and board at a higher rate.

sheltwon3ParticipantWouldn’t it be sons of thunder and interesting bible reference to James and John.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantIbaka reminds me of Theo Ratliff. Same size, explosiveness and demeanor while being raw offensively. Ratliff averaged at least 2.5 BPG for 8 straight years(including at least 3 BPG for six out of seven years) and was a good rebounder as well usually grabbing around 7-8 RPG. I see the same future for Ibaka. I think in his prime he’ll average about 12 PPG, 9 RPG and 3 BPG. Ratliff’s best season; 12.4 PPG, 8.3 RPG and 3.7 BPG in 2001.

OhCanada-ParticipantToronto and Washington should take notice of what Oklaholma City has done here. They brought 2 true centers in to play alongside their shotblocking big, moved away from their finesse frontcourt by trading Green and Kristic, and it is really paying off for Ibaka, Perkins, and the Oklaholma City Thunder. Its only been like 5 games as well, imagine how well it will be when they mesh.
I think this should be a great example for the next stages in the development of not only Ed Davis and Amir Johnson, but also for Javale McGee. Kanter is the biggest frontcourt player in the draft, and if he is as good as scouts have said he is he would play great alongside any of those 3 players. Gasol will be somewhat available, and when I heard Chris Wallace talking about retaining his young talent he never mentioned Marc.
Go all in and try to get one of these guys is my only advice to both teams.
