It’s not gonna happen, why do you think Memphis hasn’t even been talked about resigning Gay? He’s not going back to Memphis unless there willing to pay and I don’t think they will. Also, doesn’t the draft pick of Xavier Henry say anything? They will most likely use Henry at the 3 spot to replace Gay. There’s hoping Gay also looks for a S&T so they can get back a legit 3 man.

Got Josh Smith to sign an offer sheet a couple years back, only for Atlanta to match and keep him. I would not be surprised if Memphis matched as well, anything else would make them the Clippers, which they seem to be well on their way to being, so who knows.

He has a lot of options I like him in Chicago, New Jersey or Washington he needs a PG that pushes the ball dont count out Boston if the figures match up I remember him in college with Marcus Williams pushing the break Rudy was getting like 8 dunks a game I went to all their home games and now he has a consistent jumper he can be Pippen to LeBron or Wade’s Jordan but I think he goes to one of the teams I named earlier with Boston as a long shot

I was just teasin’ you since you’re usually on point lol. As you can see, I wasn’t even right! It slipped my mind that Gay wasn’t originally drafted by Memphis.

Xavier Henry was for 3pt shooting and bench scoring he was not drafted to replace Rudy Gay. I have no idea why everyone is saying Rudy Gay is leaving when he is a restricted FA and the owner of the Grizzlies said he would match any offer.
