bigmilsteadParticipantLooks like the heat are going to lose to the Celtics once again. The question must be asked what offense do they run? Looks like a viewing party for Lebron/Wade. In the immortal words of Vince Lombari, " What the hell is going on out there ?!?!?!" With the talent they have it should be Bosh screening up top for Lebron/ Wade and letting those shooters get loose on the weak side. What do yall think?

BasterdInABasketParticipantPat Riley should teach Spoelstra to teach the players to run the pick n roll
OR…
Pat Riley could show them the pick n roll himself
They need to do something cuz Bosh doesnt fit right now and is playing like a bum

ilike.panochasParticipantThey are playing too slow on offense. They need to run with the athletes that they have. The problem is Lebron is running the PG and that slows them down. They need a real PG so Lebron and Wade can run on the wing, and Bosh can get easy dunks and layups because hes not fitting in the offense right now. They can’t get a PG via trade because they don’t have any tradable assets. They really should have used Beasley to get a PG, perhaps Darren Collison or Jarrett Jack. Their pretty much stuck with this roster for this season, so their going to have to figure out how to play together without a real PG.

mikeyvthedonParticipantLeBron was killing it with Haslem and House. Those three all played really well. Bosh has no idea how to set a pick however, which was infuriating. I totally agree though.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe problem with LeBron and Wade is that they’re so ball dominant, it makes the point guard irrellivant…
They turn every point guard they play with into catch and shoot jump shooters.

ilike.panochasParticipantYes James and Wade are ball dominant on offense, but so was Garnett and Pierce and it worked because of Rondo. A PG is suppose to set the pace of the offense and they don’t have that. Basically what they do is slow it down, run half court set, and play one on one, while Bosh just stands around and get lost. If the Heat doesn’t win the title this year, it will be an ultimate fail, and I would seriously consider trading Chris Bosh next year for an All-Star caliber PG.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantWade was throwing up some wild and weird shots..
Some of his shots were so bad & ill advised that if he was a rookie or the 7th or 8th man…He would’ve been benched..

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Heat don’t need an All-Star caliber point guard. They need a point guard that can defend, push the ball and make open shots. Adding another ball dominant player to LeBron, Wade and Bosh would be a disaster.
This situation isn’t really similar to KG and Pierce. Neither of them were as ball dominant as LeBron and Wade. And by ball dominant, I mean holding onto the ball for long periods of time and needing isolations/clearouts. Both KG and Pierce had the skill set to play off of the ball and off of another All-Star caliber player. LeBron and Wade do not. Pierce, KG, Allen and Rondo all compliment each other perfectly.

ilike.panochasParticipantActually KG and Pierce were just as ball dominant as James and Wade. Pierce (just like Wade) was the main guy in Boston for alot of years and was a 25ppg scorer, and one of the reason why they broke up the Pierce and Walker combo was both of them were both ball dominant and none were willing to be the facilitator to one another. And KG was basically a PF version of Lebron James at Minnessota. He was the PF and the PG on that team for many years, the offense ran through him. Yes he had Cassell and Terrell Brandon as his PGs, but KG was still the one making the offense for the team which is why he average 5apg for a PF which is rare now a days. And the reason why KG and Pierce have glued together is because they have an unselfish PG. James and Wade can use one right now. If you saw the game today against Boston, Wade and James were playing one on one, basically doing what they’ve been doing before they got together which has been proven unsuccessful against a good defense like Boston.

Toronto16ParticipantI agree, Bosh does not get enough touches, yet everyone blames the Heat woes on him.

Meditated StatesParticipantGarnet was a great team player not ball dominant at all compared to Wade and Lebron where u been kid. Peirce has been great at catch and shoot or beating his man off the dribble his whole career. Shared scoring with Antoine Walker to the tune of playoff appearances. The peices for the C’s are a natural team fit. Bosh,Wade, and Lebron dominated the ball all the time on their teams. Their games are exclusively more built for it. They will get better, but none of those guys are catch and shoot guys like the C’s have in their star players.

Jlv2010Get out of the Eastern Conference then you won’t have to play the Celtics until the Finals.

Moon RiverParticipantWhen does Pat Riley take over the head coaching duties? Officially anyway. Spoletra standing on the sidelines with his hands on his hips isn’t cutting it. And, if you saw the looks on Pat Riley’s face last night when the camera panned to him, he certainly did not look like he was enjoying himself.
My speculation is that Riley is the coach by Christmas. Lakers v. Heat. Zen man versus Tan man.

SwatLakeCityParticipantPat Riley should tell Erik Spoelstra to start Mario Chalmers or else he’s taking over. I’m tired of seeing this crappy PG Carlos Arroyo start with Eddy House being his backup and Chalmers doesn’t get a single minute of playing time. Chalmers is better than both Arroyo and House. Also I think that if Chalmers starts then he could have a career like Rajon Rondo. When the Celtics were formed, no one knew who the point guard would be. Rondo was not who he is today back then and no one really knew if he could handle it. Yet handle it, he did because of the presence of KG, Pierce, and Allen helping out. The same thing can happen to Chalmers with Lebron, Dwade and Bosh. They can all help Chalmers be the point guard they need. But that will never happen if he just sits on the bench and doesn’t play a single minute. The Heat need to start Chalmers.
