Stanford hoopsParticipantOH YEAH FORGOT ABOUT COLE AND WILLIE…but i have vasquez on first second or third..peopel tend to over look him in college even though he lead a ymca team over the champs and too the ncaa tourney..as well as played better against the usa in the olympics then rubio

Theres no doubt in my mind that John Wall and possibly other frosh(Favors,Bradley,Cousins) will be on the post-seasons list but i feel guilty giving them accolades before theyve ever played a game

Daprob89ParticipantI predict he will have ROSE type season meaning lead his team to the final four with better numbers
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/02/2009 - 5:10pm #174988
Stanford hoopsParticipantthe difference is that rose had veterans around him..wall doesnt other than patterson..there will be a couple of pg putting up better numbers..roses team was also already good before he got there..kentucky not so much with a bunch of unproven new guys
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/02/2009 - 5:19pm #175007

Daprob89ParticipantYUR RITE ON ABT THE VETS BUT KENTUCKY HAS 2 ONE&DONE GUYS WE RARELY EVER SEE THAT I CANT EVEN NAME NONE IN RECENT MEMORY AND PUT THAT WITH PATTERSON WHO COULD HAVE BEEN A LOTTERY PICK THIS YEAR…
I THINK WALL STOCK WILL RISE IF IT CAN GO ANY HIGHER0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/02/2009 - 5:26pm #175016
Stanford hoopsParticipantyeah cousins is a tad iffy and hes not the kevin durant mike beasley one and done type..there are 2 kinds..hes the other kind who gets drafted on his potenial like ed davis would have if he left…he may prove me wrong but the fact that he loafs alot and doesnt always come down court and his defense is lacking is some pretty big issues
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/02/2009 - 5:33pm #175022

Daprob89ParticipantI AGREE DERE IS TWO TYPES
WHICH ONE IS HE????
WE DNT KNO BUT IF HE HAS A MONSTER SEASON NO ONE WILL BE DRAFTING HIM ON THE “P” WORD0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/02/2009 - 5:35pm #175025
Stanford hoopsParticipantyeah that is tru..he should be able to hide some of his weaknesses with patrick patterson there

CollinsI don’t necessarily agree with Singler over Aminu or Monroe, but at least one Duke or North Carolina player is a preseason All-American every year haha

birdman113why doesnt anyone like Pittman he developed last year a lot i see him becoming an extremely dominant player.
0- Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 7:50am #175190

JoeWolf1Pittman is a huge questionmark, the dude averaged 10 and 5 last year, not enough for pre-season All-American team, if he shows up in shape and improves his game more he could be a most-improved player type guy, not extremely dominant, at his best he won’t put up the kind of year Aldrich did as a Soph, he might put up 15 and 8

Stanford hoopsParticipantjarvis varnado????? over greg monroe..wow..yea hes a very good defensive of player but his offense leaves alot to be desired…wall wont dominate..he mihgt(big might) have close to the numbers that rose had..but i doubt it because rose had other established good players to take the pressure off of him
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 7:35am #175182

mikeyvthedonParticipantI do not think people at all dislike Pittman birdman, but he will most likely still have issues with stamina. He is a definite sleeper, but on a Texas team with Damion James and Avery Bradley as the main options, I do not know if he will put up All-American numbers.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 7:50am #175189
birdman113for part of last year Pittman had to be double teamed, now other teams will be forced to either single him. or leave their other good players open. plus last offseason he went on a diet and lost about a 100 pounds ut i think hell work hard on his post moves this offseason.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 7:54am #175192
Stanford hoopsParticipanti like pittman and he should build on the numbers that he had last year…but yea he is a question mark
0 - Posted on: Fri, 07/03/2009 - 9:52am #175255

JNixonParticipantHe will be a presence, but I see him averaging about 14 ppg and 7/8 boards…not All-American numbers. He wont play enough minutes to produce all-america numbers
