I like the topics of the podcasts and I dont know of the host but hes very good.

The Don brings lots of color, energy and hype which is great. Needs to stop interupting the straight guy though before hes finished making point. 

Visenbergs knowledge on Rookies/Prospects is as good as expected….but some of his projections and analysis on what will contribute to winning NBA play is whack. Plus hes still got no respect for international guys.

 

In summary, I’d rate The Dons first podcast 3.5 stars outta 5. The latest one I’d give 4 stars outta 5. Above average but still room for improvement (see point re: interuptions and whack analysis).

Well, I had a response to "Hyppe" Machine, but basically wanted to say thanks for providing some constructive criticism. Dave brought up that people had mentioned the interruptions and I definitely did not consciously mean to do so. He has fantastic analysis and knowledge of basketball, respect him greatly. He had mentioned how he felt he had kind of dominated the conversation on the first one, so I might have taken too much liberty on our second one. It is something I will focus on and I am sure we will gain chemistry the more we do podcasts.

As far as the "whack analysis" and " no respect for international guys", am going to need specifics. Despite your thoughts, I love Australia. I am going to lunch with one of the AUSA guys tomorrow who is in town and I had Ben Simmons as my ROY. Me having a differing opinion to you or not "hypping" all the guys you "hyppe" does not necessarily quantify as "w(h)ack". I could absolutely be wrong, though there is a possibility I have an informed opinion as well.

I do not think you are just a troll, I think you do kind of want to start a dialogue. So, if you create instances or bring up specific points you feel differently about, than it might indeed do that. If you keep it broad, it is just trolling. I know you like to rock the boat, but I think you could be more than just the "Aussie Hype Man". Know that has kind of become your schtick and I am not telling you to completely change who you are. Am only saying that if you have specific things you disagree with or think are "wack", than why go about it in such a vague manner? It does no favors for either of us.

4 stars is good. Lets not ignore all the positive things I said too.  In fact I recommended others to give it a trial. I also liked that it got straight down to business…no boring fluff at the start.

I felt guys like Poeltl and Maker were underhypped and the chatter on them had a pessimistic tone. Something about draftnet but theyre always trying to chop Maker down….and also stating that Poeltl is a career backup was tough. I think he will be as good offensively as Brooke Lopez…and a a way better defender. 

And no love for Papagiannis either. Its like you draft guys never learn. 

To be fair, If youre gonna go through every pick one-by-one theres almost no chance that listeners will agree to every one of the projections. 

Ask Dave if he wants my top 5 under the radar freshmen for the 2016/17 NCAA season.

So umm I’ve been listening to your podcasts and yeah they’re great and all but…I’ve noticed that you haven’t mentioned Mcdunkin or Mcdunkin Managenent Agency in anyway shape or form. I consider you a friend but c’mon guy I didn’t have Cyclo deliver all of those Burger King coupons in a briefcase for no reason. I’m not saying I’m desperate but I need clients.
