It is the third quarter and the Knicks are using a lineup of unknowns. Early did replace Wear on the court, so they have depth of obscure players that many fans would not know.
When was the last time the Knicks had a team like this?
Obviously the Knicks will use plenty of lineups like this as they go for the top pick in the draft. Smith was the only player listed among the five who started but the other four have played similar minutes to many of the starters, who are obscure themselves with names like Cole and Pablo.
Did 2009-10 have a few units like this one, with Sergio Rodriguez and Chris Duhon? Darko may have been around too.

Well when you stink as bad as the Knicks do you might as well look at other options and give guys that normally don’t play a chance to prove themselves.

Did anyone see the video of the huddle with Derek Fisher talking to the team like they were a youth league team?? “It’s still basketball guys, play your game, they put on their shorts just like you do.” It is absolutely stunning how terrible the Knicks are. The organization has completely hit rock bottom.
