Hype MachineLol as bad as your youtube channel is, Im almost tempted to subscribe.
My theory is that since it really was time for Wade to go, Pat Riley intentionally lowballed him so he wouldnt look like the bad guy for leaving.
Almost like a thank you present.

ChoppyParticipantSo many times we see players take less at the end of their career to try and win a ring. What some people are forgetting is Wade already sacrificed millions to get his rings by bringing Bosh and LeBron to town. Now at the end of his career, after getting his rings, he wants to get paid. I wish him well.

sheepish_moParticipantRidiculous. As a Heat fan i’m completely shocked but have nothing but gratitude for everything Wade did for the franchise. Wouldn’t have won a ring without him and wish him only the best going forward. Will be missed but at the end of the day his jersey will be hanging in the rafters.

NBAjunkie81Participantfor my grandfather…… It was a different time – in the 1990’s —– He was a Bear of a man w/ giant Paws for hands, skin like leather & a head the size of a Pumpkin – a Huge pumpkin……. He barely spoke other than to give us workers directions.
He was as Old school as Old school gets……. If he had emotions no one ever saw them, he was a man in the Ernest Hemingway sense
Other young guys worked on our crew & one guy was Always complaining that he was not appreciated…… On one particularly sweltering Hot day, he snapped at my grandfather:
"I work my @ss off every day & I do nice work & you Never compliment me or my work!"
My grandfather looked at him & said something I have Never forgotten – he said:
"You are a man, No one & I mean No One cares what you think or feel or want – compliments are for women & children……. Every Friday, there is a Paycheck waiting for you & That is how you know you are appreciated….."

TarHeelRavenParticipantI can’t blame Wade for leaving Miami at all. He brought 3 titles to South Beach. He gave his heart and soul to that city. He doesn’t owe them anything. Going to Chicago makes a lot of sense since he’s from there. I’m with Wade all the way on his decision to leave Miami.
