negguaryParticipantWould you be mad if the sixers took either one with three and didn’t trade out of the spot? I’m asking this assuming your a fellow sixers fan, I’m trying to get a sense of how others would feel about a move like this.

BallinmvpParticipantI’m actually not a sixers fan, just reporting for those who may want to know. I don’t think I’m fully qualified to answer that question. I do know that most sixers fans on this site are clamoring for wiggins but I don’t know if he will be there. If not and they don’t trade up, I think vonleh or exum would be their best bet.

Ebown5ParticipantI’m a Sixers fan too. I have gone through all of the emotions since the announcement of Embiid’s injury, and let’s face it, this really hurts our draft status.
I think that I am about 40/60 for trading 3 and 10 to get Wiggins. If Hinkie really believes that this is a price worth paying then I will live with it. My preference though is to stay at 3, and draft Exum.
We better not trade MCW for anything. That would be a panic move IMO.
At 10 take a forward. Like Randle, Gordon, or Saric in that order.
We can still come out of this draft with a lot more talent than we went into it with. Plus, we should try to use Thad and our cap to get another mid first round pick and look for a shooter.

negguaryParticipantI don’t know much about Vonleh won’t lie…but do you think Vonleh and lets say lavine has more worth than just having Wiggins.

tuck243ParticipantIts so many PF that come into the league that look like Vonleh and barely produce. Lavine had chances to show out and never stepped up to the plate… No way I’ll pick Vonleh over Randle… IU had a solid team, Vonleh was mostly the 3rd option on that team… A team that went to the NIT… Never had a DOMINATING performance… Truthfully, Exum, Vonleh, and Zach scare me in a bad way… So, package up #3 and #10 for Wiggins or draft Exum and trade MCW for the #7 then select Randle… Draft Nik, Gary Harris, or a wing at #10… The Sixers would be complete…

negguaryParticipantIm a die hard sixers fan the son of a sixers fan, and I am also torn on trading 3 and 10 for wiggins. Truly is a tricky situation now with Embid going down.

ianapleasantParticipantCleveland Wont trade you the #1 for #3 and #10 so why dont we just take this off the table.

BallinmvpParticipantUnless you truly believe wiggins is going to be a superstar then you don’t trade those picks. I think picks 3 and 10 will have a significant impact on the team. It’s more value in them staying put than trading up

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantMany Sixers fans are nervous now that Embiid is like this. But, I think they can still get Wiggins or Parker at 3. All it takes is either one of the Bucks or the Cavs to really fall in love with Dante Exum, and the rest is history !

Neggedpastorwith john Henson, ersan, sanders, the greek god,and oj mayo I can see the bucks drafting exum over parker or wiggins if the liked him in work outs I wouldn’t trade anything until after we are on the clock by then we should have 2 ideas of what to do draft or trade. I like randle but you can trade down and get him somebody would want the number 3 pick.
you would also want to see if randle or embiid slips before moving the 10th pick and if is anybody in the lotto who likes thad young.
so I feel as though whatever we decide to do we don’t keep the 3rd pick no matter what, either trade up or down.

AwrightAwrightAwrightParticipantYou would keep the 3rd pick if Wiggins is still there. Like i said, reports (more like rumors, actually) out of Cleveland is that they wanna win now, not rest on potential. So, Parker would be the ideal fit there rather than Wiggins. And, the Bucks (again, more rumor than substance) seems to be more intrigued with Exum than Wiggins. Makes sense here anyway since they are in need of a PG.
So, this only leaves the dreams of Hinkie and many Sixers fans to come true at 3 (and they didn’t even need to trade to move up to get him). Keep your fingers crossed, people !

dazeoneParticipantNo he is one player you get a big man Vonleh and trade Thad and the 10 to move up for Smart if there is no indicaion of Emblid going to the 1st 2 picks but, Sanders is in rehab and the Bucks need a big man which could be Emblid reguardless of his timetable to heal….it all depends.I hope no one takes him in the early part of the lottery and we get whoever and Hinkie works the magic to get Emblid as well. Exum is cool but only if you can get a big man with the one of the 2 picks.

Clean187ParticipantSince the 76ers traded a lottery protected pick to Miami that now goes to Boston, I don’t think we can do that. I’m not sure what the rules are in that regard.

Ebown5ParticipantI’m all for being creative as long as we don’t trade MCW. That would be a mistake for any pick out of the top 3.
I want us to stay put and take Exum as a shooting guard.

InHinkieWeTrust ’13ParticipantAs a sixers fan, if wiggins and parker go 1 and 2, and they don’t trade the third pick, I think they should go with vonleh. He looks like he has the potential to be a Chris bosh level player in the nba

burgessfourParticipantreally worries me. Very limited footage of him and he hasn’t played against top talent. I really don’t want to give up 3 & 10 for 1. I still think there’s a chance Wiggins or Parker fall to 3. Maybe on draft night someone (Orlando, Utah) makes a decent offer for 3 and the Sixers take Randle (who I really like and don’t think has any chance of falling to 10) @ 4 or 5. Then they take a SG @ 10 and a couple SF’s in round 2. So maybe they have a starting 5 of Noel, Randle, Thad, MCW, Lavine.
