Lotto StudParticipantDerrick Rose has never had another gaurd paired with him, that was dynamic and explosive. The backcourt needs a change of pace, whether it’s a premiere guy or not. Rose needs a guy who can counter his movements and not slow him down in the process.
With this being said, I believe the Chicago should make an offer to Cleveland for Dion Waiters, because they do not value him much right now. The Bulls may be able to pry him away for a little of nothing.
What do you all think of this?

gbmantisParticipantOnly way I do that is for Gibson if I’m Cleveland.

Hacker90ParticipantMakes you think the Cavs will trade Waiters for little to nothing?

Hacker90ParticipantYeah I understand that part. Just wondering what makes you think the Cavs will just give Waiters away for almost nothing.

Dog_ShammdogParticipantThey specifically value him now. Even if only for his trade value. And with kevin love on the block they are playing their cards tight. So no. Just no.

ExumInfernoParticipantAt the 2 and 3 there could be Butler, Dunleavy, Hinrich, Snell, McDermott, R Brewer, maybe Jimmer or they would like to keep DJ Augustine. With Gasol there, maybe Mirotic gets some small forward minutes too.
So it is crowded in that spot for the Bulls. They probably don’t want Waiters, and Cleveland don’t have great depth so if Waiters doesn’t start he would still get huge minutes as their 6th man. Things could change at Cleveland if Miller, Allen and J Jones arrive.
The Bulls can already put a fast team on the floor for a change of pace. Rose can run with Snell, Butler, Randolph and Gibson.
