Shoud Chris Bosh have deserved a starting spot for the 2010 all star game instred of KG?

Chris Bosh is more deserving to start in the all star game instead of KG. KG has missed at least 10 games this season do to injury and he isn’t playing at a high level that Bosh is playing.

All-Star starters are bases on fan vote, so no he doesn’t deserve it since the fans voted KG. Change the rules about who’s vote counts for starters and so forth, then this argument is relevant. Obviously Bosh is a better player right now and is putting up a lot better numbers, but it’s the fans who vote in the starters….they want to see KG so they get KG.

Have you seen the celtics play w/o him? They’re not very good KGs only like 70% but you see how much just 70% does for them.

Fellas the Allstar game is based on popularity..Fans vote for guys that they want to see play..Thats why guys like Mcgrady & Iverson were among the top vote getters dispite hardly playing this season….And why Shaq got the 2nd most votes for center in the east over Brook Lopez, who’s having a better year…Bosh has had a better year than KG but he’s not as popular…Without Garnett Boston wouldnt have won the title..Without him they’ll be a 4th or 5th seed in the east, not 1 of the top 4 teams in the league…

Bosh is averaging almost 24 and over 11 rebounds, plus he’s played in every game for his team. Sorry, but he should be in the starting lineup over KG.

bosh is the best power forward we probably have in the game today. but he also plays in Toronto where he doesnt get as much pub. the allstar game is a popularity contest (see ai starting on the east). but i would take bosh over kg at this point in the careers any day. just remember bosh was a huge part of team usa winning the gold.
