McDunkinAntoine Walker has decided to return to the NBA Development League’s Idaho Stampede once again this season instead of retiring into the sunset where could shoot four-pointers at will. The Stampede announced the decision in a press release on Thursday afternoon.
Walker, the former NBA All-Star now caught up in debt, played with the Stampede last season as well in hopes of an NBA call-up.
Walker averaged 16.0 points and 6.3 rebounds while making just 85 of his 243 three-point attempts last season without getting any NBA looks. This season, at least according to his statements in the press release, the veteran forward has something else on his mind.
"I can’t wait to get back to Boise," Walker said. "It’s a great place to live and I’m hoping I can help this team make the playoffs and win a championship — we’ve got some unfinished business to tend to."
Now 35, Walker will presumably be the oldest player in the D-League for a second consecutive season.

HurricanesParticipantanybody else wondering how a 35 year old can be signed to a team in a development league? Whats he gonna develop at 35 years old? A sense of when to stop bricking 3’s?

McDunkinI thnk he wants to ride it (or shoot it out) until he gets offered an assistant job
