OhCanada-ParticipantForget that other thread I couldnt contain myself…
If you are a fan of NYKs basketball what actions do you expect and hope to see your team make? Are you happy with the Free Agency so far?How does it make you feel?

BasterdInABasketParticipantAfter about three years of buildup and now not even a day into free agency and its amazing how depressed knicks fans are after nothing new has really happened.

OhCanada-ParticipantIn all honesty other than making that terrible Houston trade this maybe a good thing…obviously trading the rights to now a definite lottery pick and a potential second lottery pick was the wrong move. You trade a Top 10 Draft pick C Jordan Hill and 2 potentially lottery picks now, for the Chance of signing Chris Bosh. Not only that but the team you traded those picks and that player to is using those pieces to trade for Bosh in a S&T. Total self-destruction there…
Also you have 3 mediocre wing players and now its looking like Raymond Felton, Mike Miller and David Lee is the best you can come out of the FA class with. Id just say screw it.Let it allll ride out another 5 years!
You can overpay more mediocre players.
Or you can finally put your foot down, and rebuild this orginization and roster from the ground up!

deshawynkeys91Participantthankfully i’m not a fan of the knicks… but i do feel for them.. sold a bag of dreams… as a raptor fan i know the feeling of being sold a vision… atleast we have some talent on the roster still after bosh leave and hopefully will be able to get something back….
as for what the knicks can do moving forward…. DON’T sign/over pay for d lee that will only add to the list of problems… d lee at BEST is a 6th man on a contending team ( and please ppl dont talk to me about NUMBERS…. and unsized pf that is not a defensive/offensive presents doesnt not help)… the good news knicks fans it could be worse you could be….ummmm actually it couldnt be an worse the knicks are the worst team in the nba as it stands right now (if no major signing happens)

OhCanada-Participantthe good thing about this whole thing is New Yorks pick in 2011 is 1st Overall Protected and in 2012 is 5th Overall protected so they may retain both picks!AHAHAHHAA

khaled_a_dParticipantJJ have made no commitment yet,Knicks still has some options,if Lebron said he will be a knicks tomorrow this thread will look foolish
and I would tell do you really think they made wrong decision ?what should they have done?rebuild through the draft with no 2010 pick and bad scout (Hill over very solid group of PGs )
they have cleaned the house, they have their options open in trades, you can get a guy like Hamilton for Curry,Can make some trades from teams that want to save money and have the same team you could have b4 the whole cap relief plan or even betterI never thought the Knicks will get a major FA ,but when you think more and more, that wasn’t such a bad moves (well may be losing this picks for the Rockets

sheltwon3ParticipantWith cap space you can do a lot of things. You guys act like people dont like coming to New York. New York is not Cleveland who had to get lucky to draft Lebron to save their city.
There are tons of talented guys available and teams that will give up young talent to avoid the luxury or just have more money to spend.
Every Gm has to have a bk up plan in case something does not go as planned. Bulls and Nets could get screwed too.

OhCanada-ParticipantLOL dont worry Knicks fans im a blessing in disguise…Now that ive gloated my way to oblivion the Knicks will likely sign LBJ and CB4 just to piss me off.

MkadozaParticipantI’m a Knicks fan, and its not a day into free agency. 3 players have signed so far, Gay, Gooden, and Milicic, and Gooden could have been a great addition. However, how can I worry about all this conjecture. All these reports are just rumors with experts saying, “It could happen.” No one knows what will happen, so until something does, stop riding my teams dick so hard.

Hoops MaestroParticipantCap Space is overrated. He can’t shoot, pass, or rebound.
