Ass offer Minnesota would never take two mediocre players when Boston is offering the 6th, 17th, Sullinger or Olynyk, and a future 1st rd pick. I like faried and chandler but come on..

This reminds me of when Kevin Garnett was on the block in 2007 and it seemed like every single team was trying to put together packages for him around draft day. So far, I think Boston has the best deal for Love and I dont see the Nugget deal working at all.

That sounds like a Kahn move and I can only hope that the Wolves to much, much better than that. I don’t see much of a scenario with nuggets players that I like and would rather see a Chicago, Boston, Phoenix or Golden State trade based on the assets that they can offer.  Best case is something involving Klay Thompson and worst case is a bunch of draft picks.

yawn. I think flip is askingevery hack writer to throw out trade offers to try to drive up the price. This doesn’t even make sense. Flip needs to get the best player available. Scores of role players is a big no. Try again

Uggh this is funny to me. IMO the Boston deal is a lot bettter. Yet the MN sportswriters are eating it up acting like this is a way better deal than Boston because you get some guys that are proven "solid" players. I’m so obsessed with the process right now that I read everything anyone who might have an inside scoop writes or tweets, but really I don’t know why I even pay attention to these idiots…

What I’m reading on twitter is the Nuggets would give Minnesota also Arron Afflalo. I don’t know how they would get him, though. It probably includes picks also. Not sure Boston offer is better if you throw in also Afflalo and picks. Still it would be a very good trade for Denver.

What I meant is it’s better for the TWolves, not for Love. By the way a core of Lawson, Gallinari, Love, McGee plus all the decent role players the Nuggets have is not that bad. I don’t know how it would sound to Love’s ears, especially since it seems he wants to compete for the ring. But it’s not like Boston would be an immediate contender. They have Rondo, maybe you can count Jeff Green (who comes from a slightly disappointing season and never seems to live up to expectations) and not much else.

More likely you can’t read or understand the meaning of "I don’t know how they (the Nuggets) would get him (Afflalo)". By the way, here’s the source twitter.com/SteveBHoop/status/479455854656507904. David Aldridge retweeted that.

So GS gives up Bogut and Barnes for … garbage? Not only garbage, but garbage with bad contracts? How interesting.

Mozgov offers similar production to Bogut, without the constant injury concerns, and he makes $10M less annually, how is that garbage? Martin’s contract is probably a year too long, but he offers more production than Barnes, obviously with far less potential, but potential is just that, potential, whether Barnes ever reaches his ceiling is a good question. As for Nate Robinson, how is that garbage, is he not an upgrade over Steve Blake? As for Arthur and Randolph, they both have 1 year left on their deals, why are those bad contracts? I would’ve even thrown in the 11th Pick for Barnes.

Best case scenario for the Wolves is trading Love and Martin to GS for Barnes Thompson and Lee, otherwise every other trade is garbage and they need to keep him and hope for a great season.

The Afflalo part is what I’ve heard. Denver would acquire Afflalo from Orlando (no words on what they would give up to get him) and then include him with Chandler and Faried to Minnesota.
