I have seen alot of people post that O.J. Mayo is he future of the Grizzlies and their #1 option. I agree that O.J. Mayo is a #1 option in the NBA and can probably score 25 PPG, but I think this is finally the year Rudy Gay will break-out and fulfill his potential while eventually becoming one of the NBA’s elite? Who do you think is the Grizzlies future go-to-guy?

i think they dont need to pick a go to guy..with both being future allstars they can just go with whoever has the hot hand that game and if they need a 3 to win a game they go with oj..if they need a 2 or get to the foul line they go with gay..its a win win situation

I dont see Rudy Gay being a NBA Elite player.

Rudy Gay will be a 20-8 guy for the rest of his career

OJ Mayo will be the future go to guy in the next year if Memphis picks one.

OJ is the better #1 guy. I like Rudy but he will most likely be the #2 option for good teams.

I would much rather depend on OJ Mayo leading my team in scoring than Rudy Gay. Mayo should be their franchise guy. He’s a hard worker and he is a player that all winning teams need.

based on last season i might agree with some but after whatevery one was saying from his workouts and from that usa scrimmage game on how hes more aggressive and has gotten better at every aspect of the game i cant… its a good problem to have..2 go to guys
