LMAO, rudy gay had to simply miss a ft and the grizz win and he got his as.s chewed out by the entire grizz team becasue he swished the ft and allowed the suns a chance to tie the game which they did. this game reiterates to me the most stupid rule in the league, After Gay made the free throw and the Suns call a time-out, why do they get it at half-court? That is just a stupid rule and gives an unfair advantage to the offense that they do not deserve.

It’s not a stupid rule. It makes coaches and players have to think more. That is why it is important not to just waste timeouts. Also, by getting it to half court in a close game it allows for a lot of those awesome buzzer beaters that people like to see. Guys in the NBA hit some crazy shots, but you’re not hitting many shots from the opposite free throw line.
