Not sure if this has been posted yet, but the T-Wolves have acquired Budinger from the Rockets for the 18th pick.

Nice move for both teams, the T-Wolves think anyone they liked would be there at 18, and got a proven rotation guy that can knock down the outside shot and give a boost off the bench. The Rockets have gotten yet another pick, which now gives them the 14th, 16th and the 18th.

We know a deal with Sac-town is being discussed, they really want to move into the top 10, and this additional pick should make that easier. I personally think they should trade Lowry and two or three picks for Evans adn teh 5th. They can still resign Dragic who has proven to be a very good scoring guard, get Evans to pair next to K-Mart, and in addition get a top 5 pick. The Rockets have been looking for a big man forever, Drummond may fall to them, probably not, but they will get a choice of two of the 5 that are going to go 2-6, MKG, Beal, Drummond, Barnes, and T-Rob. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Well the Wolves must think that the SF’s they can get at 18 would be no better than Budinger for the time being or ever.

I think the Rockets should trade 14 (?), 16 (Ross), 18 (Harkless), and Kyle Lowry to Sacramento for the 5th pick (Michael Kidd-Gilchrist) and Tyreke Evans. This trade would be a win-win for both teams. Sacramento would get Ross to replace Evans and a defensive small-forward in Harkless, and a starting-caliber PG in Lowry. The Rockets would get Michael-Kidd Gilchrist to replace Budinger and a young super-star in Evans.

Granted, I could see a Kings/Rockets trade happening, but why would the Kings need Lowry when they already have Evans, Fredette, Thornton, and Isaiah in their backcourt? Just sayin.
