I must have missed the army of talking heads and insiders slamming Paul for horrible representation and steering an 18 year old down a bad path. Or, those same insiders and talking heads have had an information swapping relationship with Paul for years and accept how he does business in a way they don’t from someone they had never dealt with before. Toronto clearly told Rich Paul they werent picking Maluach and then Paul called the Suns and made it look like he pulled strings to get him there. Whether you believe he prevented the Raptors from picking Maluach or not its a spineless move him posting this to social media. Thats kinda gross.

The weeks leading into the draft were all about trashing Bailey and Cooper for trying to work the draft process. The same exact voices have seen Rich Paul shamelessly do the same thing over and over again without them offering up any criticism. That offends me. A story is not a story because the relationship or lack thereof between the journalist and the player’s representative.

Didn’t Maluach work out for anyone at all then?

Surely an agent’s job should be to get his player drafted as high as possible. Ace’s reps should have been on the phone to the Spurs, 76ers, Hornets etc putting him forward for workouts.
