 They both only have one year left. Not sayin it would happen at all but Im pretty sure with Chalmers and Birdman as fre agents that they could really use Lin and Asik. Alot of teams could really use those two to make a playoff push or a championship run.

 Lakers would probably happily take Asik.  Expiring and only counts as 8 mil on the cap… Paying the full 15 isn’t a big deal to them, just the cap hit.

 I think any team that can, will make a push for Lebron if available. I could see teams taking on Lin and Asik. It’s only one year and there is a league minimum salary teams need to meet. A team like Philly could use Asik for that reason and if he plays well you could swing him hear the deadline for something. Lin may be a little harder to get rid of though but it can be done. 

Not saying it’ll happen but just stating I don’t think Lin and Asik are these poison contracts no one will touch. It’s 1 year. 

Also I think Houston is fine how they are. They don’t need to make a big splash. They are a young team and it was their first year together. They need some wing depth and better defense but they have the tools to make a push against anyone.
