PhillySteveParticipantIf Dr. O’Malley says it’s not an issue, it’s not an issue. Likely another Phil Jackson leak.

B-ball fanParticipantThe fact that this comes up right before the draft makes it sound like a smokescreen to me.

GBeeParticipantStress fractures in big men feet are serious business. Just look at Embiid, who could be missing his 2nd season in a row bc his wont heal properly.
And I would laugh if this was a PJ smokescreen. Imagine WCS running pinch post action in the triangle. Cue up Yakety Sax.

DukeBlue22ParticipantI would stay away from WCS. He is a 7 footer and can rebound, but he didn’t show much post moves in college. He was good in the pick and roll and just dunked. Tyson Chandler type that is a liability on offense. The game versus Wisconsin he scored the opening basket off a dunk and was quiet the rest of the way. His defense like I said is great, but a top 10 pick of someone that is just defensive is something I would stay away from.

shootingstar11Participantthe guy isnt’ worth the risk… he’s more of a 11-15th pick to me.
he should be able to defend in pro, but man… he wont be able to give you anything other than lobs / dunks….
he has bust written all over him….

Lotto StudParticipantJust remember how serious this can be. Jared Sullinger took a huge nose dive because of his injury and he were projected as a Top 5 talent in a better light over the likes of Willie Cauley-Stein. Anything is possible for Cauley-Stein to drop hard.

cycloParticipantRegardless, Cauley-Stein’s floor is Phoenix at #13. Trade or no trade, he won’t get past the Suns.
Could be that Phoenix has a trading partner (Knicks – Bledsoe deal?) who want Cauley-Stein to drop to the Suns at #13.

IndianaBasketballParticipantBird is extremely high on him, so I doubt he falls past 11.
I wouldn’t be upset if the Pacers picked him, but I’m not so sure I wouldn’t rather have Turner or Kaminsky though. Stein seems very immature like or something. I guess I’m not completely shocked to read he has character concerns. However, Bird and the Pacers get a lot of guys like this and seem to develop them well.
