CavFanPRParticipantThe guy chosen with that pick was seen as a top talent but scouts where worried about his supposed "lack of position". He turned out to be the best player from that draft class.
I feel like Utah got robbed.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantHill is very solid as a combo G, probally going to be more productive then the inevitable pick they traded away…
You shouldn’t question a move in hindsight when the damm draft hasnt even happened yet…
Kawhi was traded to the SPURS! Taking away any credit they had in developing his skills and putting him in a perfect role is a bad decision IMO

CavFanPRParticipantYeh I agree on the Kawhi part. That said, I feel like Utah could’ve gotten more for that 12th pick. Hill is a nice player no doubt. Does this trade mean they’re giving up on Exum?

gforce03ParticipantLike others mention, Hill can play off ball while mentoring Exum. Exum should be the primary ball handler and share the ball with Hayward (if he stays). Looks more like Trey Burke is the one they giving up on.

OhCanada-ParticipantHill is a perfect fit for today’s NBA gaurd position. Not much of a playmaker but a good defender that can knock down shots and play off the ball. Utah really needed someone like that this year.
They haven’t given up on Exum although he is very inexperienced and is a question mark going forward returning from injury. Hill would be a perfect mentor for him going forward.
