 Toronto almost lost tonights game because of two things defensive rebounding and turnovers. For the first time this series Jonas got minutes in the 4th. Valanciunas has the highest plus/minus in this series even when he isnt getting buckets he is the best rebounder on the team and als the best in this years NBA playoffs. Only Gobert is on the same level. He also is a very underrated screen setter that allows Toronto to set their offense. The only reason Poeltl should get minutes ahead of him is for perimeter defence but Toronto has to swap perimeter defence for rebounding because Valanciunas is the best rebounder at all times and Morris/Scott are good perimeter scorers but no where near as good as Valanciunas is rebounding. Its a good trade off. His open space defence has also improved even know its still a weakness. Your the 1st seed you set the tone and play to your strengths. Time to change the rotation.

 I still can’t believe they took Poeltl over Sabonis in the draft after Sabonis outplayed him in their head to head matchup in college…

 Yeah Jonas has played well in 1st quarters this series. He’s 5th in points off pick & roll in the playoffs this season  Kind of puzzling as to why Casey haven’t played him at all in 4th quarters this series until 2nite.
