Something tells me that you base this list on 2k13 player ratings. Hey man I think that we all agree that Lebron James is the best player in the league, and on this list. If I could rank them into this upcoming season, I would lower dwight howard because we don’t know yet how well he recovered from that herniated disk. Dwyane Wade I don’t know where to put him either because he too had an injury, but he appears to be super healthy again. During the 2010-2011 season people ranked dwyane wade as the best sg on the planet but it appears this season’s stats and style made people think otherwise. If dwyane wade returns healthy I’ll be willing to place him at either 2nd or 3rd but it also depends on kobe.

BTW: Expect the Bostrich to get a lot better this year!

Who cares about the 8th best player of these two teams lol? It was irrelevant to me.

I found 5-7 tough to rank but for me Allen is easily number 8.

I would take Pau over Bosh, much better passer with a more complete offensive game.

Why not just rank your whole 8 like the thread says?

     1. LeBron James – He is the best player in the world, hands down.

    2. Dwight Howard – Whenever Dwight Howard is healthy, he is the most dominate center in the entire league.  He has many games where he can grab 20+ rebounds.

    3. Kobe Bryant – Kobe has lost some from his game, primarily a consistant 3-point jump shot.  However, he is still one of the most lethal players in the game, and he is also one of the most clutch players in the history of the NBA.

    4. Dwayne Wade – Wade’s knees are an issue.  He’s still a phenomonal player, but his knee injuries have taken so much away from his perimeter jump shot.  He’s still one of the best the NBA has to offer, still.

    5. Chris Bosh – Bosh is truly underrated.  He does many things well, and it’s hard to be recognized on a team with LeBron and D-Wade.  Bosh is still a good mid-range jump shooter, and he can still pull down a lot of rebounds whether he is playing the 4 or the 5.

    6. Pau Gasol – Gasol I think would play a lot better at the 5 then he would at the 4.  However, he can’t do that because Dwight Howard is there.  Now the Lakers have to rely on his mid-range jump shot.  It’s effective, but he could be much better if he played the 5, elsewhere.

    7. Steve Nash – I feel bad placing Steve Nash as the 7th best player between the two teams, but it’s a harsh reality.  These teams are stacked with talent, and while Nash is still a great NBA point guard, he is only the 7th best player between these two teams.

    8. Ray Allen – Allen has really transformed into a jump-shot specialist.  However, he is deadly from downtown, and he is underrated as a defender, and also as a guy who can cut to the basket.  He was a very solid pickup for the Miami Heat.

    9. Shane Battier – Shane Battier is a really good player.  He is a great perimeter defender, and as he showed in the NBA Finals, he can knock down the 3-ball with great efficiency.

    10. Antawn Jamison – Jamison is still a good player, and he should really help the Lakers spread the floor, being a 4 who can shoot from the perimeter.  He also may get some time at the 3, which will really benefit the Lakers whenever they need an extra scoring option.
