IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t expect Bledsoe to play that much.
The article doesn’t say how much he’s signing for, but I think it’s a good signing.

Specialt25ParticipantThe Clippers dont need another PG or PG/SG
They have baron davis, eric bledsoe, Willie Warren and eric gordon.
damnit…
get a SF already…. and a backup PF.
Udonis Haslem would be a great fit and even josh howard.

sheltwon3ParticipantThis move does not make any sense at all. I feel sorry for Willie Warren.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe Clippers don’t want to rely on young Eric Bledsoe as a backup. He’s not ready.
Willie Warren isn’t a guarantee to even make the team. Even if he does, Foye is still a smart signing… Especially if they got him for a bargain.

JNixonParticipantWillie Warren IS Randy Foye. lol. But man, that backcourt situation is crazy. They need a backup who makes their teammates better and is steady…..I guess Foye will do though. He’s a proven player with nice scoring ability. Bledsoe wasn’t ready to play next year anyway.

Malik-UniversalParticipantat least this makes the clipps a deeper team now, since outlaw is out!!

OhCanada-ParticipantIm sorry but I think not only is this a horrible deal for Foye but its a horrible deal for the Clippers. Really thou what are they thinking. Sooner or later this franchise has to stop making mistakes. Not only do they already have 3 PG’s but they also already have 1 small SG in Gordon and are still in need for a large 2 gaurd a starting 3 and a backup 4 that is reliable incase Griffin is cursed with the LAC bad luck.
Obviously they want 2 small G’s at SG which is very silly.

MagikKnickParticipantWhen did the Clippers hire David Kahn?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/08/2010 - 2:37pm #349447

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThey Hired Vinny Del Negro as thier coach. Luckily he didn’t tear his ACL. He was already cursed by being named Coach.

Mr. BasketballParticipantGreat signings by the Clips today. They spent 4 million on Randy Foye (a good bench player that can play the 1 and the 2 which is good because if bledsoe earns the backup pg spot they can play bledsoe at the 2). Also, its only a 2 year deal so if warren pans out, they can just put him in the rotation for foye. Warren was a late 2nd round pick, you shouldn’t count on 2nd rounders to play big minutes their rookie year so this was an excellent signing. he actually had a great stretch of games following the gilbert arenas suspension that showed his potential. Remember he is only 26 and had his best year last season. However, the clippers signed him as a backup so it was a great signing.
Next they signed Ryan Gomes for 3 years, 12 million. He is another good bench player that is still relatively young. He is a tough defender with great work ethic and character which the clippers need to build a winning culture. Both signings were bargains and savy moves for the first year gm Neil Olshey.
