The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI just noticed these two guys were just wasting away in Minnesota, and I always liked them as prospects and think a team like Philly(Or any team looking for some cheap talent) would be smart if they made a minor trade and grabbed these two off the Timberwolves while they don’t have much value
What do you think the T’Wolves would want in return for a couple of guys that are pretty much useless to them this season???
Philly could use Chase’s outside shooting when he gets healthy and Shabazz could develop into a solid 6th man type or replacement to Evan Turner…
What would Sota want outside of MCW, Turner, Thad Young, Noel, Wroten and our 2014 Draft picks…Maybe a 2nd rounder and James Anderson, a trade exemption???

cuseflynn10ParticipantBazz needs a chance to develop and showcase what he can offer, but I doubt Minnesota drafted him with the intention to trade him seven months later. Unless Philly was willing to trade one of the more valuable pieces they have that you say are off limits, I doubt that they get Bazz.
The 76ers have three second round picks so they could potentially do a three team trade. 76ers get Bazz, Minnesota gets a mid-late first, and Team X gets the 76ers second rounders, but even this is unlikely and just speculation. I think if some team could pull off a trade for Bazz, it would be the Suns. They have three first rounders outside of the lotto right now. The T’Wolves could be tempted by the deeper draft if they were inclined to give up on Bazz already.

aaucoachParticipantchase isnt playing because he is still coming into form from 2 serious knee injurys.so its not like they just refuse to play him.adelman didnt seem to like bazz from day 1 so as long as minny is in playoff contention,i doubt he sees the court

aztwulfParticipantChase is being worked back into the rotation as he recovers from knee surgery. I doubt Minny is looking to move Chase, so trading for Chase would take a more generous offer.
Bazz played efficiently in a short stint in the D league, but other than that he has rarely seen the court. Adelman’s has a history or not playing rookies, but he really seems to not like Bazz. I would imagine that Bazz could be had for a high ‘teens first rounder, or a veteran wing capable of playing with the second unit.
The Wolves have made some curious moves this season. They traded Derrick Williams, their only real non-starting trading chip, for Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, only to sit LRMAM on the bench. I would have thought they would have held on to DWilliams to include in a bigger deal.
Minny may have the worst ownership/front office in basketball, so who knows. Maybe you could get Chase, Bazz, and get Minny to throw in a couple of first rounders just to take them. * I wish I was kidding*.

Jester87ParticipantMinnie gave Chase big money this summer, they’re not playing him much because he’s just come back after a bad injury. They really need him to produce, Brewer’s been a bricklayer all season long and he’s incredbly overrated on defense, always gambling on passing lanes and leaking out for easy fast break opportunities. Also, It would be a big bet trading for him after all the injuries he’s had, considering he has three more years for a total of $15 million.
