valentineBlazers fans r super excited today because their your Blazers playing without all star Lilliard beat the Cavs!! I think for the sake of the future of their team getting a top 3 pick is much better!

th123ParticipantBlazer’s have been fun, but predictable to watch. Competitive most of the game, but usually doesn’t have enough fire power to pull off the win. They’re going to continue to lose games….As they should.
In a perfect world, they get a top 4 pick and hopefully select Ingram if he’s there. If not, I think they’ll take Poeltl or Brown(don’t think he’d be a good fit though).

alex23ParticipantI don’t think they are that hungry that they need the "ate" seed

MJBrownParticipantAt this point, the Blazers could be considered the surprise team in the league. The number of people on this site that predicted that the Blazers would be worse than the sixers this year was quite shocking

Memphis MadnessParticipantI had the Blazers as a sleeper playoff team. BUT, I also had the Jazz and Kings there, too. lol.
Well, all THREE of those teams might get in if the wheels continue to fall off the Grizzlies.
If I were them I would make a SERIOUS RUN at the playoffs at least until the trade deadline. Then from there, see what to do.
They are probably too good, to have a GREAT SHOT at a top 3 pick. If they can’t get a top 3 pick, then there won’t be much of a difference in whichever mid-first round pick they would end up with. 10-20 looks about equal. All about finding the BEST FIT.
If the get into the playoffs however, that would really energize the franchise.
Ok, record wise, they are still on pace for the 5th pick… but they might STILL be better off making a run for a playoff spot, especially if some OTHER bad teams decide to mail it in and start semi-tanking. Then you fall to a projected pick around 10 and there isn’t a whole lot of difference between 10 and 15/16.
They should AT LEAST wait until the All Star Game if they decide to tank.
The Sixers, Lakers, and Celtics (via the Nets pick) look to have a strangle hold on the top 3 chances to get the first pick. Then it looks like the Suns are in a tail spin. So, I wouldn’t doubt it if they go into full-on Tank Mode. So, the Blazers would have some stiff competition in TANK FEST 2016.
