    So Portland offered miller a 3-year contract with the third year option, it’s worth 21 mil…does this help their progress if he signs or slow it? I think it helps but i”m sure many will disagree..

    my bad i misread…. My post is off base, it said philly offered 1 yr 6 mil, and portland offered more (3 yrs is too many)… Thank God he doesnt use athleticism in his gm, so he may be more durable than im thinking./

    will help, he hasn’t gone far in his career, but he brings a nice veteran presence just like Blake and i’m sure he’ll be traded before his third year is over. Good Luck to the Blazers. Miller should fit in nicely, btw, they offered Sessions some money like so many asked, but they didn’t think he fit the team and wasn’t worth.

    don’t you mean 3 year 21 million and not 2 year 21 million? in 2 years, he’ll get 14 million because it’s 7 million a year.

    does the dre signing put portland in the san antonio and lakers talk as premire teams in the west.

    I like this move for Portland. Miller is VERY underrated. Blake played well last year, but he’s better suited as a backup IMO. Like someone said above, Miller will bring leadership to a team full of young guys. I think this move gets Portland passed the first round.
