high floorParticipant1.) Taj Gibson – The emergence of Mirotic and Portis will push Gibson out of the Windy City.
2.) Brandon Jennings – Spenced Dinwiddie is ready for the backup PG role. Jennings will be moved either to a fringe-playoff team that’s dealing with backcourt injuries, or a stacked playoff team that needs bench scoring.
3.) Kevin Martin – He’s gone. Memphis in particular needs to explore a deal for him. The Grizz need 3pt shooting bad.
4.) 2+ Players from Celtics Front Court – Way too many rotation players, not enough minutes. Not sure who goes, but there is no way they keep all their PF & C pieces by the deadline.
5.) Markief Morris – I know he’s saying the right things now, but he’ll be moved from the desert for the right offer. Maybe re-united with his brother in Detroit?? I actually like the fit next to Drummond.

IlladelphParticipantArchie Goodwin (Suns) – Suns are loaded at guard, and Goodwin is still raw as a shooter. He is an upper echelon athlete, and above average defender, and a great slasher who gets to the line a fair amount… but a shooter he is not. With E-Bled, Brandon Knight, Sonny Weems, and now Devin Booker, I see Goodwin getting shipped. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him shipped with Markief in a package deal.

Mr. HookShotParticipant1) They should’ve traded Gibson last season already, as there was a moment when his stock was at an all-time high. Now, they still could get a solid return for him. Looking across the league, very few teams are in need for a defensive PF, maybe only the Kings and the Wizards.
2) They will only trade Jennings when he shows he’s back to full strength.
3) Yes
4) They have a lot of pieces yes, but very few of these players are actually starter’s material. I like Sullinger (who they won’t trade away), but for the rest I see back-up type of players who either have a limited offensive game (e.g. Johnson, Mickey), or a limited defensive game (Olynyk, Lee). Now if OKC wouldn’t have resigned Kanter they would’ve been interested in Olynyk I guesss, but other than that I don’t see many teams in need of Celtics’ PFs and Cs
5) He first has to show he plays hard for part of the season, as he almost destroyed his image around the league, and his trade value with it. Good player though, one whom many teams could use!

WinterSoldierParticipantI don’t agree about Taj Gibson I can think of several teams that would love to have him.
Detroit, Indiana, Brooklyn, Wizards, Celtics, Raptors, Bucks, Hornets, Memphis, Kings and Dallas. All of these teams would be better with Gibson.

HitsterParticipantNene at Washington is in the last year of his deal and may have to settle for a bench role this year so might be available for the right package if Washington want to distribute minutes elsewhere and it’s likely Nene may move on.
Al Jefferson is in contract year and if he indicated he may want to go to pastures new he might be moved a team he was likely to resign with if the package was right for the Hornets.
Any team in rebuild with a good role player veteran would likely consider good offers for them from likely contenders.

King CaluchaParticipantThe problem with Boston is that the roster is really deep but its bench doesn’t have a lot of trade value.
