Can anyone think of a good idea to start a petition for Kawhi or Cousins to go to LA and be able to reach it out to then via social media?

Please guys, lets try to make the NBA great again!!!

Technically, this forum is a type of social media. So, you’ve done it!

The Lakers not in the play offs and having a taste of the lottery was great for me.

I’m a scouting/player development/draft junkie so I haven’t hated the rebuild as muc has many others, but for admittedly selfish reasons. Having LA in the lotto mix and actually trying to get something out of their second round picks has been fun to watch. And I’m in no rush to gut the roster to bring in stars that may be available without giving anything up. Lebron’s committed for at least three years and the Cavs inability to field a truly competitive team should make Lebron/Magic/Rob/The Lakers very hesitant to gut their young core and go for broke on big names. Lebron and Magic want to build something sustainable, and to me that means "trusting the process" with the Lakres young core.

I also believe that the Lakers young core was part of the appeal for Lebron. Lonzo is the perfect type of pg to play with lebron if Lebron really is trying to play off the ball. Lonzo’s the least ball dominant starting pg in the league and is a truly elite playmaker/passer. Kuzma is a straight flamethrower and Ingram is a unique talent with an already legit ISO game that can help take pressure off Lebron. Obviously Boogie and Kawhi would be huge upgrades, but with Kuz, Ingram and Lonzo on small deals, I’d rather see them develop by playing with Lebron and LA looking to bring in players via free agency as opposed to trade.

while I agree that the current Lakers rister must have some value to LeBron, I totally disagree about Lonzo being the least ball dominant starting pg in the league. He has to offer close to no shot at all and is terrible attacking the basket. Don’t know if a) LeBron does want to deal with Lavar at all and b) what Lonzos quest is now on this team.

How can someone who has no outside shot, no slashing game and no post moves not be ball dominant when he basically never slashes or is unable to get to the line?

I can think about 20 other starting point guards who I envision being a better fit then Lonzo Ball but hey, the good part is we‘ll see whats going to happen and LA will always add the next level drama to it.
