aamir543ParticipantPau Gasol suffered a plantar fasciitis strain, is currently on crutches, and will get an MRI tomorrow. Gasol says he felt a “pop on the bottom of his foot. It’s on David Aldridge’s and Adrian Worjanowski’s twitter.
I know it’s too early to speculate but damn, this comes at the worst possible time, Dwight is out, they’re on a 5-1 steak over the past 6 games, and they’re struggling just to make the playoffs. He’s also been playing well of late with Dwight out, so this isn’t good news.
If Gasol is out for an extended period of time, this puts a lot of pressure on Dwight to deliver, but honestly, I’m still weary about his back, I mean, his back isn’t supposed to tingle every time he’s sitting down especially 8 months after surgery. This is turning into a living Dwightmare(sorry I had to) for the Lakers, and they need to turn it around fast. But like Big Champ 12 said in another thread, winning cures all wounds.

aamir543ParticipantAnd sorry this is off-topic but can someone who watched the game explain to me how Samuel Dalembert scored 35 today in just 27 minutes? Dude was buried on the bench like spare change in a sofa.

FastAndFuriousParticipantAt the end of the day…..Dalembert is still a NBA player.

Whats the worst case scenerio for this type of injury?0- Posted on: Tue, 02/05/2013 - 7:25pm #744925

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantFor a bigman, it’s devastating; Tyreke Evans had this in his second year and it completely derailed his whole season

Chilbert arenasParticipantDon’t forget about Dwights shoulder, that’s not getting better anytime soon since it’s a labrum which is cartilage.

MalcolmxParticipantGasol had been dealing with tendonitis in his feet and knee’s all year. I respect the big man playing threw it the whole season but now it has caught up with him. I hope it is not to serious and I am not a laker fan.I actually used to root for the kings to beat them back in Divac.and Webber days but still I don’t wish injuries on anyone.
