“Danny Ainge needs to shut the f*ck up and manage his own team. He was the biggest whiner when he was playing, and I know that because I coached against him.”

Heh, interesting. Pat really doesn’t seem to like him very much.

I’m siding with Danny Ainge with this one.

Lebron James is a superstar, and he gets a lot leeway calls to go his way because of it. So it doesn’t look right when a superstar is complaining about normal fouls. Danny Ainge during his playing time did not stand out being a whiner more then the average player. Alonzo Morning who Pat Riley coached was a extreme whiner. He complained and b!tched about everything on the court.

Doesn’t mean I can’t be objective. Wade has been good this season because his rep took a hit for constantly complaining. He got on my nerves last season for constantly whining about phantom fouls.

Lebron didn’t even blame the refs. All he said is that the fouls were hard fouls.

Yeah, Danny Ainge is the guy always whining to the refs. Hey Ainge, remember Pierce and the wheelchair?

This is literally calling the kettle black. The Celtics, Heat, and Lakers are the three teams that whine the MOST on/off the court. None of them have a say in this, really.

I have no clue why Ainge said anything, but the facts are, if Lebron is going to act like he is treated “unfairly” by refs, that is just hilarious. First of all, he gets tons of calls, in every game, and he works the refs all game long for later calls. Secondly, he is a big dude. So you are going to have to hit a big dude harder than a small dude to prevent him from scoring. He says these aren’t “basketball plays” but both the foul on Hinrich and Gibson were regular fouls, and by the definition of the rule were not flagrants. Maybe if he would start hitting guys when they come inside, and doing something more intimidating than failing to push Carlos Boozer over, he would prove hi spoint more.
