BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantJust before midnight Sunday, OSU basketball publicist Michael Noteware sent out a media advisory that a 1 p.m. Monday press conference will be held in the O-Club room on the concourse level of the OSU Athletics Center. No other details were provided, except that the press conference would be open to the public.
Then, on Monday morning, a source close to the basketball confirmed what has long been expected.
OSU coach Travis Ford told reporters at the Big 12 preseason media preview that he recruited with the intent of replacing Anderson.

gregoden08ParticipantChicago should try to get him. That’s where I see him going to. Adds a good shooter for D-Rose.

knicksfan7Participantgregoden08, I agree Chicago would be a good fit for him. I believe for James Anderson to be a successful Shooting Guard in the early part of his career he will need a well disciplined point guard to create shots for him. While he was at Oklahoma St he had Keiton Page. Page you can make fun of his small stature and the way he looks all you want, but he understood his role and helped make James Anderson a better player. I think the best fits for James Anderson are Chicago, Utah, and New Orleans all 3 teams have disciplined point guards who know how to play the position. I expect him if he were on one of the teams I mentioned to have a very successful rookie season.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI bet he would look great next to Chris Paul or Deron Williams.

knicksfan7ParticipantOrangeJuiceJones I bet you would look great with Chris Paul or Deron Williams with defenders playing defense 8 feet away from you with there hand up.

JNixonParticipantNo surprise here. I expect OK State to be on the bottom-half of the conference next season. They also lose a very underrated talent and piece of their team in Obi Muenelo.
