What is everyones thoughts on Adrian Oliver as a pro prospect? He looks like a Klay Thompson type guard but very much less known.

I’ve seen him play plenty out here on the West Coast and I just don’t see it. He is a big numbers guy, but is an absolute jacker. He doesn’t have the quicks to get by perimeter D in the NBA and shoots too poorly to be a role playing Daniel Gibson or JJ Redick type. Poor defender, too.

I remember he had a good game and people compared him to Brandon Roy.

I think he goes undrafted and someone grabs him for summer league. I don’t think he’s a NBA guy, so I’m guessing NBDL and Europe

3rd Leading scorer in D-1 despite sitting 5 minutes per game.  And that’s against WAC competition, a solid conference.  Scored 29 against Utah St., who are KenPom.com’s 10th most efficient defense.

The WAC was historically bad this year largely due to Fresno State and Nevada getting hit with early exits.

    BTW, against the Aggies

    1/27 USU- 10-23, 29 points

What makes you think this guy is better than Charles Jenkins or Corey Stokes, guys who would be late second rounders like Oliver would have to be if he was to be drafted.

Charles Jenkins Is a good player but what make him
better than Adrain Oliver ??? Adrain Oliver had to
carry San Jose Su on his back and still ranked top 10 2yrs in a row

Even with all that it doesn’t mean he will be drafted. There have been plenty of guys who were one of the top scorers in the nation and put up very good numbers who didn’t make it because they either did it on a bad team or small team or there game just didn’t translate to the NBA. Maybe he will do very well in camps. Did he even get invited to the Portsmouth camp?

The only WAC player participating in the Portsmouth Invitational, Adrian Oliver, put up these numbers in his opening game: 21 minutes, 4-7 shooting (0-1 on trey attempts) for eight points, three assists, two steals, one rebound and one block.

^^^^ you could ask that both ways since they are both in the same boat. fighting to get drafted and make a team. Either way they both will be making alot of money( if they decide to go to europe)

Game God: its sounds like Adrian Oliver is another case of Cameron Wells. A few, and by a few, I mean, one person, says he will definitely get drafted and a very good player, while the rest say no way, you trippin’, Adrian Oliver will not get drafted.

Don’t be hater and realize that Klay Thompson is better, and both Adrian Olver and Cameron Wells will not get drafted.

I keep looking up the camp and theres nothing saying much about him during the camp. I do see he had 8pts one game 9pts another and 3 points in his last game. Looks like he is gonna have to get invited to a camp in order to make a team
