JordanC20ParticipantTyreke Evans is good but not good enough to be 2nd…This guy probably gets paid too much.

The MantisParticipantWell, I think it’s out there, too. But, honestly, if he made his out like everyone else’s, then we probably wouldn’t be talking about it. I don’t mind someone making what appear to be questionable picks as long as they can back it up with logical analysis. But I didn’t see this guy doing that.

joecheck88Participantthe only way tyreke evans goes to memphis is if they let him go back to college. but you never know what could happen. the most ridiculous pick was budinger at 30. i see him at 20 at absolute latest.

fatbastardParticipantDefending Tyreke pick:
Best freshman in NCAA
Memphis has virtually no depth. Tyreke could immediately back up 1-3.
Memphis Tiger following
Can anyone say with certainty that Hasheem or Rubio will be better in 3-5 years?0- Posted on: Wed, 06/17/2009 - 10:03pm #167131
jcjParticipantNote also that he did say that picking Tyreke second considers that Rubio doesn’t want to play for them. That said though, I’d rather maximize any trade value I can get. Perhaps a pre-arranged deal where Memphis picks Rubio second, Kings pick Tyreke 4th, and then they trade with the Kings throwing in something additional to make up the two slots. And contrary to other posts in this forum, no way would that be Thompson or Hawes. Perhaps a low #1 or a couple of future 2nd rounders will do the trick. Or cash.

Stanford hoopsParticipantbesides evens its not too farfetched seeing as thabeet is said to fall if okc doesnt pick him which is likely..sac is high on flynn..actualyl evans wouldnt be too suprising since the grizz are thinking of trading out so if someone wants evans then the grizz would be picking for them and getting back a pick and players…so this mock isnt that outrageous..maybe to some of ya’ll who basically just follow along what every one else says instead of what YOU think…and really have yall even watched past drafts and seen scratch you head picks….hmmmm williams over chris paul maybe or darko over wade, bosh carmelo?…the list goes on and on
