Note also that he did say that picking Tyreke second considers that Rubio doesn’t want to play for them. That said though, I’d rather maximize any trade value I can get. Perhaps a pre-arranged deal where Memphis picks Rubio second, Kings pick Tyreke 4th, and then they trade with the Kings throwing in something additional to make up the two slots. And contrary to other posts in this forum, no way would that be Thompson or Hawes. Perhaps a low #1 or a couple of future 2nd rounders will do the trick. Or cash.
