So we’re at the All-Star break, getting ready for the home stretch of our league.

Predictably, MikeyV has done well, sitting tied for second overall (out of 16) with llperez, who is leading his division.  First place is currently some ringer (Sherdog Lifer?  What kind of a name is that?) that llperez brought in from his other site.  Some other guy who may or not be Jammin-Lemmon’s second team (the owner’s name is Courtney Lemmon) is in fourth, I am in fifth, ok, I’m just gonna list everyone

(Interesting Fact (sort of the real reason I made this thread, so I had a place to post this fact)- 4 of the 5 Free Agents in our league with the highest player rating this season are Spurs.  I guess they are all too boring to watch for anyone to want them.)

 I’m middling around around .500, Hopefully I’ll make a miracle comeback. Unlikely but I’m beating LLPerez 6-3 right now, but MikeyV is in 2nd place, and he’s winning 8-1 against a guy that Charlie Villanueva in his starting lineup.

 I took a risk trading Granger and someone else for Marc Gasol and Billups. I thought, since I needed a PG real badly, that this trade would be great and it was paying off…untill the injury. I guess I’ll have to just play the waiver wire and look for some miracles there. Also, BLAKE GRIFFIN is still available for trades but I will need an offer that will blow me away

^It probably doesn’t matter, but I was able to win 5-4 against Sherdog.

I wish I had been active earlier. When I actually started paying attention, I was like 5-22.

If coming in second to me is your idea of winning, than your wish might come true. Honestly though, it sucks that more people haven’t played. Sherdoglifer had the first pick in the draft I believe (he chose Kevin Durant) and I had the 9th (my first pick was D-Rose). I have made 5 trades, lol. Think most of them have allowed me to do pretty well.

Think I definitely won the ProudGrandpa trade, seeing that it allowed me to eventually obtain solid other pieces. I remember during the draft I was talking to Scarecrow over X-Box and he was saying my drafting of Nicolas Batum over Michael Beasley was a "fanboy move". Turned out pretty damn well as Nicolas is doing better than B-Easy in about every category other than rebounding.

Injuries have sort of been a minor issue. If D-Rose is healthy and his usual superstar self, my team is pretty tough to beat. Unfortunately, he and Danny Granger have been hurting at times. I MAYBE WRONG, you got Gasol, so that was not bad. I did a trade with Sherdog I might regret, the Greg Monroe/Psycho T for Jrue Holiday/Jared Dudley, but I am pretty happy with it. Think that Sherdog has had a lot of overachievers who will balance out as the year progresses. 

May not win, but at least have a chance. Near the top in both 3 point cat’s, assists, rebounds, steals and scoring. I am really competitive in this, I never go down without a fight, lol. Just wish that some of the other douchers near the bottom actually played to make things more competitive. Don’t want to call out Indi B-Ball, but I do not think he really cared about being in this, lol.

Can I get in on this league next season? I would  replace one of the 14-16 chumps.

I’m in 2 leagues this season both on Yahoo, including a Winners only.

this is the 3rd straight year i have ran one with members from this site. I always reinvite active users assuming i have a way to contact them and i replace the non active ones. Im not gonna remember peoples names at this point though so ill have to creat a thread when next years comes around and people who are interested can hit me up then.

Yeah, you probably got the better end of that trade.  I got the best player involved (Harden), but I dropped the other two a while ago.  Although, and I don’t know what you did with Billups or West, Camby is the last player you still have.  So, I dunno, maybe I did get the better deal.

For a menagerie of other, better players. They basically led me to getting Danny Granger and Jrue Holiday, among others. So, yeah, say I got the best end of it.
