Here are your official winners for the prestigious 2nd Non-Annual NBADraft.net Awards Extravaganza! I’d like to thank everyone for participating, and would like to remind the losers to be gracious. It’s not our fault you suck.

Though the winners were decided several days ago, we were unable to post the results until now. We wanted to give the newly-crowed Forum MVP, mikeyvthedon, time to write a small acceptance speech thanking a few friends and relatives. Since he’s been writing for the last three days and is showing no signs of stopping, we’re just going to thank you for him.

2. Smartest User – IndianaBasketball

IndianaBasketball takes this year’s smartest user award, just barley edging out JNixon-Iggy9. It would have been even more exciting if either one of them actually cared about this nonsense.

3. Funniest User – McBased

McBased defends his title as the funniest user. He’s also the forum’s current point king*.

4. Most Creative – OrangeJuiceJones

OJJ takes the Most Creative award for the second year in a row. He couldn’t be here tonight, so his trophy is now legally the property of Forum MVP, mikeyvthedon.

5. Hottest in the Office – RUDEBOY___

Model/personal trainer RUDEBOY___ steals the award away from last shows’ winner, marcusfizer21. I guess fizer’s suggestive e-mails aren’t as steamy as they used to be (though people are still wearing his jerseys).

6. Best Topic – McDunkin interviewed on Letterman

DanEboy’s original video captured the hearts of 99% of the users on the site. Its outstanding success begs the question; are we laughing with McDunkin or at McDunkin?

7. Forum Villain – The8thDeadlySin

His name, I guess?

8. Best Newcomer – aamir543

aamir joined the site in 2009, but he didn’t join our hearts until just recently. <3

9. Most Improved – OhCanada

Another one that doesn’t make a lot of sense to me, but OhCanada deserves an award anyway.

10. Most Underrated – JoeWolf1

JoeWolf doesn’t seem to ever make a lot of noise, but he has been posting quality stuff consistently since Aran_Smith’s conception.

11. Face of NBADraft.net – Aran_Smith

Speaking of Aran_Smith; it would appear as if he has won the site back from John Bryant. I’m sure he’s planning a comeback though. Enjoy it while it lasts Aran.

12. Most Missed – DanEboy

 I heard McBased is also under investigation for receiving improper benefits and for changing a math grade from a F to an A when he was in HS. If he is found guilty they will reset his point total to 8,000, which would put him in fifth place and vacate his funniest user awards. This would put a major damper on his reputation.

I’m in the northwest in the United States, and was a bit late because I got caught up doing more important things (shooting metroids on my Nintendo DS). Besides, all the cool posters are up this late. It’ll be a V.I.P. topic until the morning comes.

Thank you for voting me as "Forum MVP". Thank you for voting in general, whether or not I was listed. This forums ability to participate is part of what makes it so great. Very much appreciate it. I love writing about basketball, and this forum has been an amazing way to do that. Thank you to everyone who gave me responses, whether they were of encouragement, constructive criticism or even a counterpoint.

I have learned an incredible amount from the posters on this board, and am very proud to consider many to be friends and many more as acquaintances and contemporaries. Definitely hope to keep writing and I may have an announcement to make about that on the horizon, so I will keep you all posted. Thank you again, very much appreciative that what I post on here received this sort of response.
