I think I am going to make the switch this year from nba live to the 2k. Every one says 2k is way beter than nba live.

I’m a long time buyer of both series. I must say that 2k is a more demanding game to learn and master. It always took me longer to be able to be good on 2k than live. Live is more fun in an arcade style. 2k is for people who want details.

That’s a good way to put it. There are certain moves you can learn and different shot releases and stuff in the 2k series. They are the best basketball games by far. They have a really good “association” mode and player development is excellent.

I think how bad Live is, makes 2K even better but not taking anything away from 2K9.. its a way better game in my opinion

I got EA’s college hoops game last year and I was shocked by how terrible it is. If you’re in the paint and trying to post someone up, there are no post moves you just push the shoot button and it will do it for you. Haha it was so horrible. 2k also has better player graphics and more realistic moves and all that.

i like live. 2k are just copying live. live brought out dynamic dna 2k brought living rosters. live brings chalk toss 2k does. whatever information the live devs give to their fans i know 2k r gona try and copy it.

I’m switching to the 2k Series because on Live the Heat got Chalmers last year and he wasn’t even on the game! Others like Brook Lopez, almost all second rounders, and more.

as a ball player nba live pisses me off because the players are so stiff like robots and everybody moves the same its not even appealing to watch nevermind play…..the 2k series is the best hands down and we need to bring back the 2k college hoops series too…..fuk EA basketball
