Ricky Rubio to the Spurs for Danny Green. I think this works out for both teams. Danny green is a veteran presence with championship experience. He would fit perfectly next to Wiggins and Dunn. Rubio is the perfect point guard for a team of stars. He would leade theleague in assists and pairing him up with Gasol is a marketing dream. The next trade idea I have is Paul Milsap to the bucks for MCW and Greg Monroe. Paul milsap is an all star talent and would fit perfect next to the Greek freak don’t think I have to sell a team getting milsap arguably one of the most underrated talents in the league. The reason why Atlanta does the trade is Monroe put up great numbers next to a non mobile center in Drummond. They would be the biggest front court in the NBA. MCW is a solid back up point guard who can help ease the transition for Schroder. The last trade idea I have is Rudy Gay to the rockets for Beverley Jones and Ariza. The Kings lack depth and they get a solid group of role players in return. Terrence Jones who has been disappointing could be special next to a legit center like cousins. Any ideas or thoughts on these guys. I Know I’m going to get negged but wanted to start a discussion.

Terrence Jones has been signed a few days ago by the Pelicans

The first two trades you proposed are really lopsided. The Wolves and Hawks don’t even entertain those trades. Assuming Terrence Jones was still on the Rockets I could see Sacramento moving Rudy Gay for Jones, Patrick Beverly, and Trevor Ariza.

Milsap is the cornerstone in ATL. He will not be moved.

If the T-Wolves are smart, they will wait until the regular season to move Rubio. If a playoff level Squad’s starting PG goes down (or fades away) Rubio would then become an ideal target.

There is a vibe out there that Greg Monroe is not playing up to his contract. Anyone who has to go dollar-for-dollar in a trade for him right now will probably feel like they are getting the short end. He could be moved to a team with surplus cap space but there would have to be a pick or two involved. If Maker really comes on would the Bucks waive him? Stranger things have happened.

Ditto Rudy Gay. It’s a shame he didn’t fit in in Toronto. Or Memphis. Or Houston. I’d like to see him in New Orleans or maybe Miami. He seems destined to be one of these very talented guys who never quite finds a perfect fit. Maybe he’ll surprise everyone and pull a Zach Randolph somewhere next year. All of our collective fingers should be crossed for this man.

The Wolves believe they have quality starting caliber point guards.  They are probably right.  That being said, teams need 2 of them nowadays.  Rubio is signed to a affordable contract that helps make it possible to keep both at this time.  Maybe down the road Tyus Jones will be good enough to allow the Wolves to trade one of them but at this point it is a nice luxury to have 2 quality point guards when it used to be difficult to find 1.
