I am Greek so I ask about this. He has been a great player at the junior and youth levels. So I just wonder as he is not in any of the mocks. I know I asked this before about Kostas Papanikolau too and it was said he is not consider good enough.

Well about Pappas who was the leader of Greece’s youth teams? He’s always been one of the elite players of his generation. Is he also not good enough for NBA Draft? I mean he is same age as Rubio and really I am not so sure why Rubio was always considered to be better than him.

So I wonder then why is Rubio fit for NBA game? He is slower than Pappas.

Is Rubio fit for the NBA game? I mean he has all the hype but nothing to show for it. He has a questionable jumper, questionable athletic ability, and questionable decision making. He is a great defender for Euro basketball (no offence) but can he defend the quickest guys in the NBA? Sure he is young, but how many guys fall flat on thier face?? Im not sayin Rubio will, but at this point, I am dissapointed in him. I cant wait till he gets to the NBA and shuts me up.

Well so if this is all true why is he drafted #5 in NBA and Pappas is not even in a mock draft list? He is more athletic than Rubio, has a better shot, and he is stronger physically. I just do not understand the NBA scouting system at all. It makes no sense.

Is Pappas expected to work out in pre draft camps enter the draft this year? That could play a major role in why he isn’t in any mocks.
