Anton123ParticipantI didn’t see this topic yet, hope no one has created this yet.
This is a great signing to me for New York. Now the line up is this:
PG Felton (Douglas)
SG Azubuike (Walker)
SF Gallinari (Chandler)
PF Randolph (Turiaf)
C Stoudamire (Curry)A small line up, just like D’Antoni likes, they could resign Earl Barron, because I don’t think Curry will get any PT in Mikes system

MagikKnickParticipantlol, theres like 3 Felton to NY topics
But its definetly an upgrade, that lineup will be fun to watch in Mike ‘Antoni’s system…
I think we’ll be legit contenders for a playoff spot next season..

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIs it better than Chris Duhon and Sergio Rodriguez? Yes. Is it necessarily a good signing? No. I think he’ll fare better in a wide-open style as opposed to the Larry Brown system, but I’m not sure he is a great fit. I feel like a guard in that system should be a 3:1 assist to turnover kind of guy, someone who makes good decisions. I don’t think Felton is bad on that front, but for that money I think they ought to want a little better.

stanford hoopsIt’s a up grade but he can’t shoot that well. I hear Amare says he doesn’t wanna play center and turif might start there. I say it’s possible they make the playoffs but Amare and gallo aren’t really known for defense and neither is the coach. I guess the question is are they better then the other contenders for the 8th seed bobcats and cavs(prob with al Jefferson)

knicksfan7ParticipantI think the Knicks are going to be competing for anywhere from 6th to 8th in the east all year long. Amar’e won’t have to play center the Knicks have Jerome Jordan, Ronny Turiaf, and possibly Earl Barron. Gallo isn’t a good defender, but at least he tries on defense. I think Gallo could be an average defender in the league. As a Knicks fan it feels good to see how the roster has shaped up, I am excited for the season.

stanford hoops6th? Hmmm. Let’s see. Atlanta Miami Orlando Boston chi bucks are for sure better then they are. I can see 7th or 8th at best. If the cabs get al Jefferson then I say they battle with the bobcats at 8th realistically
