I don’t know if anyone has posted this yet..But Boston Celtics free agent center Nenad Krystic just signed a 2 year- 6 million dollar deal with CSKA Moscow ..Its his 2nd term in Europe after starting the 2008-2009 season with Triumph Lyubertsy..

This leaves the Celtics with aging injured prone Jermaine O’Neal as the only center currently on its roster…

Here is the link I found:

    http://clnsradio.com/2011/boston-celtics/report-nenad-krstic-signs-two-year-deal-with-cska-moscow/

But it isn’t yet confirmed on CSKA’s site.

Apparently its a 2 year- 8.76 M $ contract, something huge for a Euro player. I’m surprised  that this deal came through because he was supposedly linked with Olympiacos during the last month.

Good decision by Nenad, with the uncertain labor situation over here and his seemingly limited role with the Cs this was the right call.

Celtics have to go after a big with their first-round pick now, possibly Jeremy Tyler.

There are much better players than Nenad (no disrespect). Its ridicolous amount for a C in Europe… I understand CSKA didn’t even go to playoffs of Euroleague last year but this is just too much… who they gonna get for PG Allen Iverson?..

Krstic ain’t worth a poop any way…The Celtics need to draft Keith Benson he is a experienced big that can contribute right away.

Wow, what a bad trade.  Has a trade ever put two OTHER teams in the NBA Finals?

The trade helped the Mavs and the Heat.

The NBA is diffrent than other major sports.  If the lockout gets nasty most all of the NBA players could get good paying gigs in Europe.
