0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:40pm #266035

JNixonParticipantKansas State. Number 2 seeds.
Play North Texas! They should win that one..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:41pm #266036

llperezdamn, i guess iggy was right, washington did get an 11 seed. I think the committe slept on them.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMan…I love that potential GT- OSU matchup
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:45pm #266039

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI hope it’s Baylor vs Duke for winner to go to the Final Four
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:47pm #266040
QUINCEYi think baylor will have trouble with nd
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:49pm #266043

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMan, Syracuse and Duke are in the easy brackets
Kansas and Kentucky will be tested from the 2nd round on
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:51pm #266045

JNixonParticipantI see Baylor as a Sweet 16 team….They have a bunch of perimeter scorers and good post scorers who can also defende.
Tweety Carter and LaceDarius are names alot of people are going to hear alot. Neither are true NBA prospects, but they are both having outstanding seasons and can score on anyone..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:53pm #266048

the I in winParticipantI think LaceDarius Dunn can be in the nba. obviously ekpe udoh will make it but i think quincey acy has a chance too.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:54pm #266050
QUINCEYyeah i dont see the cuse getting a big challenege unless kstate makes it
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 12:59pm #266056

JNixonParticipantYea Acy can be a bruiser down low for someone..He’s got the strength and he for damn sure has the heart and athleticism. He just has to show SOME offensive moves.
I like LaceDarius Dunn and everything, but he’s not an NBA guy to me. He has a painfully ugly and slow release on his jump shot and he’s not a great athlete or defender. He’ll go to some camps and stuff though more than likely but does he make it? I think it’s doubtful.
I think that Clemson v. Mizzou game will be very frenetic and sloppy…Both teams press and trap and both have some interesting prospects.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:00pm #266058
knicksfan7ParticipantI think Mizzou will beat Clemson, Clemson always finds a way to blow games. Also, Mizzou plays a more organized style of the full court press than Clemson.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:02pm #266061

gatorheelsParticipantYep I definitely want to see UK vs. Texas in the 2nd Round. Pittman vs. Cousins. Bradley vs. Wall. etc….
A 1st Round matchup that I am really intrested in is Tennessee vs. San Diego St. Kawhi Leonard is going to have a feast haha. Hopefully Hopson steps his game up. I want Tennessee to win but this is a bad matchup for them. I think San Diego St. wins.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:04pm #266063

JNixonParticipantYea..Clemson doesn’t have the guard play to beat Mizzou and, most importantly, I don’t think their guards will effectively break the press and run their offense enough to win this game.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:06pm #266064
QUINCEYyou and me both….wall vs bradley will be nice …from what ive read bradley always plays good defense on him. i hope texas gets past wake
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:08pm #266066

JNixonParticipantKentucky will murder Texas if they play…
I’m shocked Minnesota got in…Over Mississippi State.
My “upset” is UTEP over Butler. I like the matchups UTEP has over them and they, and they will get after them defensively
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:12pm #266069
QUINCEYyeah i expect them to kill them but i would love the match ups and the potential 5 first rounders playing
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:18pm #266076

JNixonParticipantI think Bradley will defend Bledsoe, and Wall will match up with Justin Mason too. Expect Kentucky to get the best of those matchups.
Damion James could have a nice game though, as he’s done all year. He matches up with Dodson, aka “no-D” Dodson. If he matches up with Patterson, Patterson could be better.
Cousins should match up VERY well and get the best of Pittman down low.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:20pm #266077
QUINCEYi dont see mason checking bledsoe..doesnt he play sf for them?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:23pm #266081

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMy Final Four?
Duke, West Virgina, Kansas State and Kansas
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:25pm #266082

JNixonParticipantI said I think Mason will match up with Wall and Bradley will match up with Bledsoe..
Mason and J’Covan Brown (who’s now a bench player) have been the PG for Texas since Balbay blew his knee out. I expect Mason to be the starting PG for them over Brown though in the tourny.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:25pm #266083
QUINCEYhavent watched them lately but isnt bradley the point brown the 2 and mason the three with james and pittman down low?..i know it used to be bradley and balby and mason in the back court
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:26pm #266084

JNixonParticipantKnicksboy, you like my K-State boys over Syracuse? I don’t know…..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:27pm #266086
QUINCEYso who will guard uk small foward then?..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:28pm #266087

JNixonParticipantDamion James. He’s the new SF. Gary Johnson is the PF now with James sliding up in the linup.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:31pm #266090
QUINCEYyeah but thats when pittman gets in foul trouble. unless they have started starting gary instead of bringing him off the bench
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:37pm #266094

JNixonParticipantThey’ve went with this lineup in the Big 12 tourny, the last 2 times I’ve seen them play.
I don’t think they put J’Covan Brown back in the starting lineup…He’s shot poorly this season and that hasn’t stopped him from attempting jumpers like he can’t miss. They aren’t great either way right now, but they are more efficient with him out of the lineup.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:39pm #266096
knicksfan7ParticipantKnicksboy, I actually like your final four though I think it will be Kansas, Syracuse, Baylor, WVU though anything is possible. I just know I am picking Kansas to win it all. I could definitely see Kansas-WVU in a championship game.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:40pm #266098

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantOk people… U have to ask
Can UTEP beat Syracuse?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:42pm #266101

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI hate my bracket already…I have
Minnesota in the sweet 16
Utep in the sweet 16
Georgia Tech in the elite eightI’m doing a 2nd bracket
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:43pm #266102

R-Dot-13Participanti think they can… they are a really good offensive team..
they are a longshot.. but personally, i think they could do itthats just me though
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:47pm #266106
knicksfan7ParticipantI don’t see Georgia Tech in the elite 8, I see James Anderson lighting them up. UTEP won’t be able to beat Syracuse. Minnesota idk Xavier is real good.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:48pm #266107
QUINCEYwhich is why i see gt beating okstate. james can light them up but no one guy beats teams in the tourney. never have never will. gatech is a better team to me
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:51pm #266109

R-Dot-13Participantno one guy?
then how did Davidson get so far ? :S
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:51pm #266110
knicksfan7ParticipantQuincey I agree to disagree. Georgia Tech has been the hot team, but if Keiton Page is hitting shots to open up things for Anderson it helps.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:55pm #266112
QUINCEYthats true…they can win but i just think they wont win
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 1:59pm #266119

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantGT could beat OKST easily in my opinion.
I think Favors and Lawal would be too much for OSU
G-Town vs GT in the sweet sixteen? Tough, I think GT slightly
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:01pm #266120
QUINCEYcurry was good but he wasnt the only reason they won..he was the main but not the only. that team defense and the assist guy…but they didnt win it all…maybe i should have added that no one guy take s ateam to the title..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:02pm #266121

JNixonParticipantI like GA Tech in that matchup…They match up well with them, and I think Shumpert will abuse little Keiton Page at the PG spot. Also, D’Andre Bell is a tough defender and will make Anderson work for every shot he takes.
UTEP will NOT beat Syracuse. Culpepper can score, but he’d take some bad shots in that game being forced to jump shoot all game. Syracuse’s zone will eliminate Caracter and definitely Moultrie down low.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:11pm #266127
knicksfan7ParticipantI think Kansas is winning it all, and just hearing Bill Self speak makes me believe more. Him saying we treat it like a 2 game tournament, great way to look at it as a coach.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:17pm #266130

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI have Kansas vs West Virgina in the final…Kansas winning it all
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:21pm #266132
knicksfan7ParticipantThat’s what I am thinking as well Kansas vs. West Virginia. Kansas winning it all. I think the Final Four could shake up as Kansas, West Virginia, Syracuse, and Baylor. I usually get 2 or 3 Final Four teams right. I won my pools last year, though I watched less college basketball. This year I have watched more, but I am less confident.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:26pm #266134

R-Dot-13ParticipantI have Cornell vs San Diego St in the final.. Cornell Winning it all
I think i have a winning bracket here 😉
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:27pm #266135
knicksfan7ParticipantCornell and SDSU are very good teams, but they just lack the athleticism to make it to the final four, def elite 8 teams. LOL R-Dot.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:32pm #266138

R-Dot-13ParticipantYeah.. but i have them knocking off tough teams like Arkansas Pine Bluff and North Texas in the later rounds..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:42pm #266145

JNixonParticipantYou think North Texas beats Kansas State r-dot?
0- Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 2:53pm #266150
knicksfan7ParticipantIggy once North Texas defeats Kansas State Frank Martin will KILL all his players, but will still be coaching.

SwatLakeCityParticipantHow does Purdue get a 4 seed without Robbie Hummel? They got killed against Minnesota. Same will happen against Sienna. Syracuse and Kansas, I think have toughest brackets. In the kansas bracket you got Northern Iowa, UNLV, Michigan State, Maryland, Tennesee, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, San Diego State, Oklahoma State. Those are some tough teams. Don’t underestimate any of them. Syracuse does too though, with Gonzaga, Vandy, UTEP, Xavier, Pitt, BYU, Kstate, Minnesota, and Florida State. Both Kansas and Syracuse will be tested.
Duke has the easiest bracket by far. The only real challenge for them is Villanova. My Final Four teams: Kansas, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Duke. Kansas and West Virginia will make it to the Final, and Kansas will win it all.0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/14/2010 - 3:01pm #266161

R-Dot-13Participantlol in my serious bracket i have kansas state going to the final 4, they are a tough team
