playa23ParticipantThis is an article I wrote about the NCAA championship any comments?
Tomorrow night two teams will tip off for an NCAA championship. One team by the end of the night will be crowned the best of college basketball and will walk away to the sounds of an erupting roaring crowd, a golden trophy and cut down the nets. Two private school teams that were never expected to make it this far have defeated the odds and will match up against each other for a battle that no one would have anticipated. The Butler Bulldogs led by their talented 6’8, 210 pound sophomore forward Gordon Hayward will look to extend his range and attack the basket against’s the Duke Blue Devils led by John Scheyer, Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith. After the Bulldogs escaped with a narrow victory defeating the Michigan State Spartans 52-50 they have finally reached the NCAA championship for the first time in school history. Gordon Hayward and Shelvin Mack finished with a combined 33 points but if the Bulldogs will have any shot at winning this game, one player will have to look to step up big. The Blue Devil’s totally dismantled the West Virginia Mountaineers beating them 78-57 and the Mountaineers 6’7 potential 1st round draft choice Da’sean Butler finished his college career with a torn acl and a lost dream. The Blue Devil’s trio however finished with a combined 63 points and a dream within reach of turning into a reality. All of college basketball fans should look to tune into tomorrows historic match up which will tip-off at 9:21 in Towson, Maryland. Gordon Hayward will look to show the world just what he’s all about and the Blue Devil’s will look to their height and skill to help them finish off this season where every team in the country hoped to be.
