Seems like in the NBA Superstars are either vastly hated, or vastly loved. Although with the new wave of younger stars we cant help but love them to death, until they make a long playoff run and start to break hearts. As players such as Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant, and Russell Westbrook improve the weaker points of the game, we will grow to hate them as we do Chris Bosh, Lebron James, and Kobe Bryant.

1. Derrick Rose — A warrior with a heart of a lion… His "let my game do the talking" attitude makes him lovable even more…

2. DeAndre Jordan — A center that makes me wow with all his highlights despite the raw talent…

3. Josh Smith — Highlight reel every night not to mention those chasedown blocks….

4. DeJuan Blair — Undersized in height but never undersized in weight… His game never changed even when he got dropped as far as the 37th in the 2009 Draft… He is still the same reboudning robot that he’s always known to be.

5. Jason Kidd — My 2002 MVP… He’s no longer a triple double threat but he still gets the same love from me…

Special mention to Eric Gordon for having a sensational year and for sucking it up and playing through pain before finally resting… I remember his game in Portland where he exploded for 35 despite an injured finger…WOW

HATE:

1. Chris Bosh — for being a third wheel who thinks he can finally win a championship… for being a pu$$y, calling out the hustlers in the game… for being a trash talker who thinks he is tough now when he got his "buddies" in Wade and LeBron… for being the RuPaul of big men… for quitiing on the Raptors and the fans… for being an anti-thesis of what a big man should be… for looking like one of the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park…

2. LeBron James — I used to idolize him… Admire his efforts in Cleveland… Cheered him on for their lopsided rivalry with the Wizards… Hoped that he can win a title with them after so many decades of "cursed" seasons… But his handling of his own free agency marred by his ego destroyed my respect for him as a person and as a pro… Not that he cares what I think…

3. Carmelo Anthony — for being a ballhog egotistic dude who thinks he is in the same level as LeBron (which isn’t true at all)… Yo, NYK, you can’t win a title with this guy around… He’s not LeBron!

4. Ben Gordon — for being too inconsistent to be given that kind of money by any NBA team… Chicago made the right choice to let him take a hike.

5. The Cleveland Cavaliers squad post-LeBron era — At the beginning of the season, yeah… I admire them because they were winning… They went 7-10 which was respectable enough… But then, December 2 came… Yeah, that was the day that set them back from the Twilight Zone… LBJ came home and just demolished their spirit and NOT ONE CAVALIER faced up and give LeBron a sense of reality (hard foul or any trash talk would do)… If Ryan Hollins gave him a flagrant, Hollins would be a hero in my books but instead the whole team just quit. I pity them but I also am angry for them for not showing enough pride to at least stand up on their own feet.

DISAPPOINTMENTS:

Vince Carter — for not being in the same breath as Kobe, LeBron and Wade though he has the tools to be a superstar… He just didn’t have enough heart in him…

Marvin Williams — for not proving to be worthy for that #2 pick… A disappointing career for a guy who I love watching with the Tar Heels…

Ill just comment on why I hate Garcia and Villanueva. They are both fake toughguys, you thought Garnett was a fake tough guy wow. Garnett maybe a fake tough guy, but hes actaully out their intimidating people, and making tough plays to win ball games, and throw people off their games. These guys are just anooying punks on losing teams and never seem to land on winning teams. Garcia tends to pick on (and get embaressed by) players labelled soft such as Andrea Bargnani. Also Villanueva is supposedly this tough guy but when garnett throws a couple harsh words at him he goes and snitches to the media, I remember a couple years ago when Jermaine Oneal gave him the wastemon treatment.

Also Id like to throw Delonte West at the top of my list and Vince Cater on their too. Toronto fans its time to get over the exit of VC…He gave us some amazing years and put us on the map, if not for him we maybe left in the memories of American fans like Vancouver.
