Champzilla21Participanthttp://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/13053413/nba-signs-8-year-apparel-deal-nike Well first off when I think wearing anything to go play or finding the perfect basketball shoes, Nike is the first company that comes to my mind. Alot because its always in your face advertisements never let up but mostly because I just find them so be superior to any others attempts to sway my mind, even if the price is a little high. Nonetheless with some of the problems the players had with Adidas such as the T- Shirt jersey or the fans with just the way some of the new jerseys look or felt. A switch was needed regardless of who took over the responsibilities. What would you guys like to see Nike do to improve the overall look and feel?

220ParticipantMy hope is the NBA doesn’t go into all out ads on their jerseys like soccer and the WNBA. A Nike swoosh works just fine in my mind and also surely bumps the NBA revenue by letting it be on game jerseys.

Jr. ROXASParticipantThis is nice. I’m a Nike guy more than anything because their apparel, especially the shoes, are always far ahead of other competition in terms of aesthetics and technology. They aleays seem to set the trend, with technology such as flyknit with the hyperdunks way back then the drifit apparel.
Also pretty off topic but their shoes’ designs are just sick compared to Adidas imo. Adidas had their days with the big 5 back then that featured t-mac and KG but now they are just lagging behind. Nike signs the biggest stars while Adidas have as top endorsers the tier 2 stars in Wall and Lillard. They had a good run with Rose I think the market for that shoe died down considerably. It also doesn’t look good lol compared to Kobes especially.
Under Armour is catching up but still has a long way to go to catch up to Nike in the basketball apparel market. They are lucky though to have Curry, who was formerly Nike. They make nice jeresys though under armour does and I wouldn’t be surprised if they get the next deal when this one runs out. Curry’s shoes rock btw.
