I think the NBA should do a draft like the pro-bowl.  Mix East and West together and get some interesting teams going.  If the draft was in snake form based on starters (call the teams red and blue), here’s how I think the draft would go:

    Red 1) Lebron

    Blue 2) Durant

    Blue 3) PG

    Red 4) KLove

    Red 5) Steph Curry

    Blue 6) Kyrie

    Blue 7) Blake Griffin

    Red 8) Carmelo

    Red 9) DWade

    BLue 10) Kobe

Red Team: Curry, Wade, Carmelo, Lebron, Love

Blue Team: Kyie, Kobe, PG, KD, Griffin

Tough to say who wins, I guess I’ll go with Red

The concept of the Rookie-Sophomore game they did last year was nice.

With Barkley and Shaq picking not in the snake manner, but choosing out of all the guys that were available.

I don’t like the idea. Seems like the NFL is always trying to spice up the pro bowl but it def wouldnt be good for the NBA to do an All-Star draft

I actually think this idea would work best with the NBA. There are only 12 players on each team so it shouldn’t be more a half hour to an hour. Have the fans vote for 1 or 2 captains from each conference and have the 2 head coaches help the captains pick the teams. Have the players and coaches vote for the rest of the players. Then have the draft on Friday starting somewhere between 4 and 6.
