0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/17/2009 - 6:19pm #230867
FT33ParticipantManu Ginobili at the 57th pick of the ’99 Draft and Willis Reed at the first pick of the second round of the ’64 draft(there were 9 teams picking back then, but still…)

Henry25ParticipantGinobli is one of the biggest steals hands down. U also gotta put Arenas up there, Willis Reed, Stockton going 16th in the draft is a huge steal if u ask me. Probably the biggest for me just cause i can’t really think of all the drafts right now

thunderforthewinParticipantstockton wasnt that amazing coming out of college and didnt have an impact in his first few years in the League so its understandable why he went that low
0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/17/2009 - 6:27pm #230875
FT33ParticipantGeorge Gervin. Taken 40th in the 3rd round(or the 4th pick of the third round of the ’74 draft)

thaprodigyParticipantKobe Jermaine O’Neal
Josh Smith Zydrunas Ilgauskas
Brandon Jennings Tracy McGrady look at the 5 players chosen before him hes a steal
Jose Calderon undrafted Al Harrington
Manu Ginobili Rashard Lewis
Carlos Boozer Cuttino Mobley
Toni Kukoc Michael Redd
Antonio Davis Gilbert Arenas
Ben Wallace undrafted Monta Ellis
Nick Van Exel Tony Parker
Steve Nash Luis Scola
Boris Diaw Josh Howard Mo Williams Jameer Al Jefferson
Does CP3 count? Danny Granger Rajon Rondo Paul Millsap
Carl Landry AB Ramon Sessions George Gervin Stockton
Gerald Wallace Willis Reid0 - Posted on: Tue, 11/17/2009 - 6:45pm #230885

MkadozaParticipantTony Parker picked 30th in one of the worst drafts in recent memory. Only Gasol you could argue has had a better career, but a Finals MVP and three championships speak for themselves. Picked after the aforementioned Wallace and plethora of underachievers, busts, and solid players. I cant believe I’m the first to mention him.

llperezI’m pretty sure John Starks went undrafted. He went from bagging goceries(seriously) to playing in the all-star game. Ben Wallace was undrafted as well. Manu went late. Van Exel, Arenas, and boozer were all second rounders. Lakers got Kobe for Vlade Divac straight up after he went 13th.

RUDEBOYThere are tons of guys u can say were steals..But looking at things now…I’ll say Kobe going 13 then getting traded for Divac a career backup..Karl Malone also getting drafted at 13 .Scouts said he didn’t have a post game..Then Gervin getting drafted number 40th ..Stockton became the league leader in assists & steals..If scouts had known he was going to be that great he would’ve went in the top 10..Willis Reed went in the 2nd round..So Kobe,Malone, Reed, Stockton & Gervin were overlooked coming into the league…They are in the top 50 of all time
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 6:53am #230986

draftnikParticipantToni Kukoc in ’90. Went 29th overall (2nd round) in a pretty mediocre draft
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 6:54am #230987

KathleenTurnerOverdriveParticipantbiggest steal of all time, Michael Jordan going third overall
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 7:12am #230993

Toronto16ParticipantNo bigger than finals MVP Tony Longoria
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 10:05am #231053

thaprodigyParticipantI already had Tony Parker mkadoza
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 10:31am #231057

JoeWolf1AK47 went 24 in 99′
Sam Cassell also went 24 in 93′0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 11:51am #231089

Lemons4LifeParticipant2003 Wade, Melo, Bosh could’ve been picked where Milicic was so its kinda good. Arenas & Chalmers look good too.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 4:04pm #231177

R-Dot-13ParticipantI think Mario CHalmers will be a steal, and Rodrigue Beaubois .
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 4:15pm #231184

JoeWolf1What about Cliff Robinson, 2nd round 36 overall. almost 20,000 career points
0 - Posted on: Wed, 11/18/2009 - 5:30pm #231216

marcusfizer21ParticipantI consider Vlade Divac a steal because he was drafted 26th in a draft that included Danny Ferry, Pervis Ellison, Stacey King and John Morton in 1989… Vlade had a better career than these guys…
Anthony Morrow… No more explanation for the teams who snubbed him… The guy can flat out shoot and score…
