RUDEBOY_ParticipantDecember 4th 1990..That date might not mean anything of any of you..But Mugsy Bogues will remember it for the rest of his life..It was the 1st and only time he has ever DUNKED IN A NBA GAME…It was a game between the Hornets & the Bullets(now known as the Wizards.)
Mugsy recently admitted on his Twitter Page that he was jealous of Spud Webb’s Dunking abilty..
When he won that Dunk Title ..I honestly would dream that it was me…
He also has been sending Shoutouts to people under 5’3.,saying ”I hope yall look up to me”…
And tweeting that there are high school girls talling than him..Bogues is 15 among the NBA’s All-Time Leaders in Assists..
Bogues have started more games than Webb..And some would say he was a better player than Webb..
But Bogues says his family and friends would kid him about not being as athletic as Webb..When we use to play them..I use to be so amazed at how the fans would cheer so loud when Spud dunked..0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/03/2010 - 6:26am #392999

sammybuckeye13ParticipantMuggsy’s accomplishments are too often overlooked. Averaged at least 8 apg five years in a row, 10 apg twice, routinely averaged 2 steals…he was the 12th overall pick in the draft for chrissakes! When he was 5-3/136! He really was a special talent. If Zo hadnt bolted for Miami after a couple years Bogues would be much more highly regarded in history.

RUDEBOY_Participantyeah..I hear alot of people that say Bogues was the better player….
He had great playmaking skills..He was averaging over 8 assists a game when some of the Alltime greats were still playing..Magic,Zeke,Stockton and Payton
People looked at him as a Novelty…Some thing with Spud & Manute Bol..

NYK2010ParticipantAlso he was a pest for other Pg’s, he used to guard them full court and tired them out.
Not sure how he saw the court well with guys a foot taller than him that must’ve been even tougher.0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/03/2010 - 7:12am #393034

NYK2010ParticipantI remember Doc Rivers playing against Bogues he got so tired after a while he asked the coach for a timeout and have someone sub in.

JoeWolf1It looks like Patrick Ewing is squeezing Charles bicep! lol
Right before that photo was taken:
Ewing: “Wow, Chuck, have you been lifting? You’re guns are feeling mighty hard.”
Barkley: “Of course I’m juicing my guns, Patrick!”
Ewing: “Nice”

NarcParticipantYou know for a guy 5’3, he wasn’t what you would really call a defensive liability. Bouges was a great on ball defender and a slick passer. For a guy only 5’3 he was a top 10 PG in his time.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI’m pretty sure LeBron doesn’t want to be in Space Jam 2 IF HE ISN’T the one doing the bigger role than Kobe… He’s too egotistic to be doing a sidekick role…

T RexI met Spud Webb twice. Once when I was in line to get his autograph.
The next time was ten minutes later, when he refused to write his last name after the "Spud" he signed for me the first time I met him.
First time I met him it was pretty cool, I got his autograph*. Second time was less cool.
