CavFanPRParticipantBecause they basically have another Monta Ellis in Kemba Walker. Why would the bobcats be even interested?henderson should be a priority at this point imo. He compliments Walker very well and play off each other. Ellis would be a better fit in Sacramento because he would play alongside a tall pass first guard with excellent court vision and defensively the wouldn’t suffer as much because Vazquez can easily guard the 2.. That can’t be aaid about Walker.

jjbutler73ParticipantEllis and Walker are alike but he should play with another point? Walker isn’t close to Ellis’ talent.

CavFanPRParticipantMonta Ellis is an undersized scoring guard. He’s a good passer but scoring is his strength so playing alongside another undersized scoring guard isn’t a great idea especially since Kemba is barely 6 ft tall. They’d have problems defensively.

jjbutler73ParticipantNot even close. I’m not saying Ellis is perfect for Charlotte but if Henderson wants to leave, they have to fill the spot. You always seem to post like teams can sign any player they want. They are called FREE AGENTS for a reason.

terrancebowerParticipantSacramento is a horrible fit, there would be a huge log jam at SG, and Sacramento really needs stoppers, not volume shooters, they already have Thornton and will be bringing in McLemore. Charlotte has a short PG, yes, but they actually have shot blockers and some defensive stoppers (MKG, Biyombo, Henderson if he stays, Taylor, Haywood blocks shots) to help cover that up, which the Kings do not.
In a nutshell, the Cats need him more than the Kings do, and he could produce more and be a bigger focal point in Charlotte, which I’m sure is appealing to him. Plus, Monta isn’t the type of player you wanna pair with a head case like Cousins.
