Neville15ParticipantMany of you would know about Mirza Teletovic, he is by no means a draft prospect at 26 and is instead one of the best available signings this offseason in my opinion. At 6’9 and 240 with the versatility to step outside as well as play inside he seems like the perfect option for a team looking for a cheap yet reliable offensive threat. He put in 21.7 points and 6 rebounds in the Euroleague last season and has just sought a buyout for his contract from Baskonia.
Teletovic is ready to make the move to the NBA and has narrowed down his options to Cleveland or Brooklyn. Who do you think might benefit the most from his arrival? Would this as well as some strong draft picks be enough to make Cleveland contend for a 7th or 8th seed in the playoffs?

TRC1991ParticipantI think the emergence of Kyrie Irving will have a bigger impact on Cleveland’s future than Mr. Teletovic here

European BallerParticipantTeletovic does not weigh any 240. He is 255 to 260.

Evan_MilbergParticipantConsidering the fact that the Nets don’t have a lottery pick, and the Cavs are about to land either Barnes or MKG, I’d say the Nets need him more. Not to mention the Nets will probably lose Wallace during free agency.

sheltwon3ParticipantThe Nets probably need him more but I think Cavs would be the better fit because they seem to have a direction and Brooklyn appears to still be trying to figure itself out.

Neville15ParticipantRegardless, he is a big body who can step outside. He is a proven player who can step in and contribute on day one which is what a team like Cleveland needs. I especially like him as a complimentary piece alongside guys like Varejao and Tristan Thompson. They contribute more on the defensive end but Mirza is a straight up offensive gun.
I think what it comes down to is how much cash Prokhorov is willing to splash for him to come to Brooklyn. I personally don’t think it is as good a fit but at the end of the day money is a huge factor

mamadouParticipantI like this guy, watched nearly every games of caja laboral during the lockout(mainly for my men seraphin).
He’s a solid player, post game, foot work, he can definitly shoot from deep, good athleticism for a white euro too.
Kind of a ryan anderson with less rebounding and without 10 treys attempted per game.
Cavs would be a great niche for him alongside varejao and with the limited offensive skills of thompson.
